2 CONGRUENT TRIANGE PROOFS Peel & Stick Activity! Objective: To practice completing triangle congruency proofs using Side-Side-Side (SSS), Side-Angle-Side (SAS), Angle-Side-Angle (ASA), Angle-Angle-Side (AAS), and Hypotenuse-eg (H). CPCTC is also included. There are 8 proofs total. Directions: 1) Choose and print the version of the activity you d like to use. I like to print the proofs on colored paper. Version 1: Identify reasons only. Version 2: Identify a mix of statements and reasons. 2) Print the abels file that corresponds to the version of the activity you are using. *I use white Avery 8167 Return abels in white. Cut the label sheets in half. 3) Give each student the proofs and labels. They identify the missing reason/statement and stick on their paper. An answer key is provided to check the answers. Other Suggestions: If you do not want to use return labels, you can have students cut and paste the statements/reasons. You can cut the proofs sheets in half and use them as entrance/exit tickets and have students write in the missing statement/reasons. Version 1 Version 2
