I saves fabricaion and insallaion labor. lenums are manufacured o sui he full range if linear diffusers from o slos. All joins are welded and sealed for air igh funcioning which adds o mainain rigidiy. Inernal baffles are perforaed shee or spliers o sui he design, or a combinaion of boh in special cases. Maximum one piece lengh is 0mm. Above his lengh plenums are supplied in muliple secions of even lengh each provided wih an inle spigo. 8 Engineering and erformance Dae Air Inducion In ceiling applicaion, he air inducion raio for slo diffusers wihou any blade seing is low, compared o air inducion wih ceiling diffusers. Air inducion increases very rapidly wih he adjusmen of he deflecion blades. For such reason, no deflecion should be applied wih false ceiling heigh of more han.00 meer. 2 slo Air inducion Air flow m /h. 00 For low ceiling heigh he deflecion becomes necessary and hrow mus be adaped accordingly. slo,000 Wih slo diffusers, flow paern can be adjused o any local siuaion. This can be easily done before or afer insallaion. This high capaciy uni has been designed o serve he performance oriened marke of oday. Air flow capaciy can be conrolled by he inegral volume damper or inle spigo damper in he plenum box. 9 Engineering and erformance Dae Sound level The sound level of a linear slo diffuser is in direc raio o he velociy of he are passing hrough i. Due o he reduced sound level of SLD diffusers, air passing hrough a properly seleced oule will no add any appreciable noise o he sound level of he general air condiioning sysem. When hi and miss damper or inegral damper is parially closed for balancing purposes, noise level can increase in funcion of he imporance of he air disribuing nework. For disribuing nework exending more han 0 meer, basic balancing should be made by volume conrol dampers in he ducing. Adjusmen of deflecion blades does no add any complemenary sound level. Final sound aenuaion in he disribuing sysem can be obained by inside sound insulaion in he plenum boxes. In order obain reasonable sound level, velociy in he oule should be seleced as follows: Ceiling heigh m max m/sec. m max m/sec. m. max m/sec.
