AQUA GEO FRAMEWORKS Aqua Geo Frameworks is a Nebraska-based Limited Liability Company. The primary goal of Aqua Geo Frameworks LLC is to provide the very best scientific exploration, evaluation, and reporting services on natural resources. One of our primary functions is to map the natural resources of an area using the proper application of the exploration techniques of geophysics, geology, and hydrogeology, with an emphasis on the use of Airborne Electromagnetic (AEM) surveys. We then build frameworks of the geology/hydrogeology that incorporate groundwater/surface water relationships, water quality, borehole data (lithologic and geophysical), groundwater information, aquifer characteristics and other information to provide the most complete picture available to meet the customer s needs. Our three principal scientists have over 100 years of combined experience in geophysics, geology, and hydrogeology with numerous peer reviewed publications. Over their careers the staff have collected over 266,000 line-km of airborne geophysical data. AGF staff hold professional licenses in many states including AR, AZ, CA, FL, KS, NE, TX, UT and WY. We provide a practical common sense approach to each client needs by taking an investigative path that considers the clients problem first and then developing the proper science-based program of investigation. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE Current and Recent Work on Airborne Geophysical Projects Gilcrest and La Salle Colorado In June of 2017 AGF was contracted by the Central Colorado Conservancy District to acquire, process, invert and interpret 250 line-km of AEM data around the area of Gilcrest and La Salle, Colorado. The area has seen increased groundwater levels since a moratorium of pumping was implemented by the State Engineer in The objective of the study is to better understand hydrogeological framework to successfully mitigate the increased groundwater levels. USACE Atlas D Missile Site 4 In May of 2017 a team of RMC Consultants, Amec Foster Wheeler and AGF undertook a project to acquire, process, invert, and interpret a 620 line-km AEM survey associated with the formally used defense site near Cheyenne, WY for the US Army Corps of Engineers. The objective is to develop a conceptual site model that can be used to facilitate the drilling in the area to determine the extent of the contamination plume. Releases/Article/ /project-to-map-groundwater-aquifers-will-have-you-looking-in-thesky/ Marina Coast Water District In 2016 AGF was contracted by the Marina Coast Water District to work with Stanford University to collect 1,000 line-km AEM survey to develop a hydrogeological framework near 1

Eastern Nebraska Water Resources Assessments (ENWRA) The Eastern Nebraska Water Resource Assessment (ENWRA) AEM mapping effort is continuing in eastern Nebraska. AGF led a study to collect 6,700-line km of AEM data within the Lower Loup, Lower Platte North, Upper Elkhorn, Lower Niobrara, Lower Elkhorn, Lewis and Clark, Papio-Missouri River, and Lower Platte South Natural Resources Districts. This project includes the flight planning, acquisition, QA/QC, inversion, and interpretation and development of the hydrogeologic framework. Project objectives include the identification of recharge areas, volume of aquifers, water quality variations, and the aquifer storage estimations. Results of these studies are publically released for Lower Loup, Upper Elkhorn, Lower Niobrara, Lower Elkhorn, Lewis and Clark, Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources Districts. The reports for Lower Platte North and Lower Platte South Natural Resources Districts will be released before December Twin Platte and Central Platte Natural Resources District AGF led a study to collect 2,600-line km of AEM data near Ogallala to Kearney, NE along the Platte River corridor. This project includes the flight planning, acquisition, QA/QC, inversion, and interpretation and development of the hydrogeologic framework. The objectives in this study are identification of location for managed aquifer recharge sites and the determination of the water in storage at the NCORP facility near North Platte, NE. AGF will also provide consulting service and AEM data for the Platte River Recovery and Restoration Program for managed aquifer recharge areas. Results of these studies will be publically released approximately December Florida Power and Light AGF participated in a study with SkyTEM Canada and ENERCON Inc. to collect 636-line km of AEM data around the Turkey Point Power Plant in South Eastern Florida to study saltwater intrusion in January AGF was tasked with the QA/QC of the AEM data and the inversion of the data using the Aarhus Geosoftware Workbench, comparison of the AEM results to existing borehole geophysics, ground geophysics, lithology logs, and water quality data, and perform the transformation of the AEM data to a 3D chloride concentration map that can be used directly in a contaminant transport groundwater model. Results of this study are proprietary. 2

Stanford University AGF began a cooperative study in the Fall of 2015 with Stanford University to evaluate the ground subsidence occurring in the Central Valley of California around the Tulare Irrigation district utilizing AEM technology. Beginning in October 2015 AGF and Stanford University collected 100-line km of AEM data within the Tulare Irrigation District. The results demonstrated the ability of AEM to map the details of the Corcoran Clay, the major aquiclude in the area, and indicate areas that are predominately composed of coarse-grained aquifer materials. Results will be presented at the 2016 Society of Exploration Geophysicist Annual meeting in Dallas, TX in October 2016 (Knight et al, 2016) and at the American Geophysical Union in San Francisco, CA in December 2016 (in progress). A manuscript is also in preparation to be submitted jointly with Stanford University in the fall of Woolf Farming and Processing AGF began a comprehensive study for Woolf Farming and its cooperating farming interests in the area to utilize AEM to map the 3-D framework of the aquifer within the farming groups areas of interest. This study included the collection of 2,600-line km of AEM data in September of Results indicated the locations of potential recharge areas as well as the configuration of the Corcoran Clay and its relationship to coarse-grained aquifer materials as well as saline waters that can be detrimental to agriculture production. In addition, locations of new production wells, along with expected yields were identified for the clients. Results of the study are proprietary. Ramotswa Aquifer Mapping While at XRI, Jim Cannia and Jared Abraham conceived and proposed a project to map the transboundary Ramotswa aquifer between South Africa and Botswana. This project was a collaboration with the International Water Management Institute (IWMI). The Ramotswa project is a component of the Resilience in the Limpopo Basin Program (RESILIM) funded by USAID. The project was completed after the departure of Jim Cannia and Jared Abraham from XRI in Sunnyside Gold Corporation In August 2015 Sunnyside Gold Corporation contracted to have Jared Abraham, while at XRI, conduct a high resolution AEM survey of the mill tailings areas of the Sunnyside Gold Mine in Silverton, CO. With the average elevation being over 10,000 ft and operating in a narrow valley of the Animas River, the survey was challenging. However, it was successful in mapping the mine properties and the Animas River covering approximately 100-line km using a meter line spacing. Results indicated the extent and nature of the mill tailings and many of the structures within the valley. Results are proprietary. Los Angeles Department of Water and Power North West Owens Lake, CA While at XRI Jared Abraham and Ted Asch participated in and managed a 3-D Hydrogeological mapping study of the northwest portions of Owens Lake and Valley near and around the Alabama Hills, CA. In July 2015, approximately 652-line km of AEM data were collected. Results 3

indicated the location of many faults as well as coarse-grained aquifer materials and their relationship to the saline waters of Owens Lake. The AEM data, integrated with existing seismic data as well as borehole geophysical logs, provided a comprehensive map of the area flown. Results of this study were presented at the 2016 SAGEEP Conference in Denver, CO (Asch et al., 2016). Fort Irwin USGS AEM Mapping While at XRI, Jared Abraham managed the field logistics and the initial QA/QC for a 1,425-line km AEM survey conducted by SkyTEM Canada under contract to the U.S. Geological Survey in and around Fort Irwin, CA in June Results will be published by the USGS. Earth Water Technology Mapping While at XRI Jared Abraham managed the field logistics and the initial QA/QC and inversion for a 502-line km AEM survey conducted by SkyTEM Canada under contract to the Earth Water Technology in the central valley of California. Results are proprietary. Other Representative Airborne Geophysical Projects. Eastern Nebraska Water Resources Assessments (ENWRA) The Eastern Nebraska Water Resource Assessment (ENWRA) began evaluating the use of AEM surveys in Three test areas were flown as part of a study conducted by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) (Smith et al., 2008). James Cannia and Jared Abraham, previously with the USGS, led the ENWRA AEM study. Additionally, AEM data were collected in the Swedeburg and Sprague study areas in 2009 as part of continued ENWRA sponsored mapping of the glacial materials within the upper 150 ft. (Korus et al., 2016; Smith et al., 2010). Results from this study indicated that the technology used in frequency domain electromagnetics - was not able to penetrate the thick clay rich glacial till of many areas of the ENWRA area (Abraham et al., 2011a). Beginning in Fall of 2014 (2,446 line-km) and continuing into spring of 2015 (1,102 line-km) Jared Abraham and James Cannia led another study for ENWRA while working at XRI to conduct reconnaissance lines over all the glaciated areas of eastern Nebraska. Results of this study indicated that the technology used - airborne time domain electromagnetics - was best suited for rapid mapping of the areas of ENWRA that were covered with thick clayrich glacial tills (Abraham et al., 2015a), as well as penetrating deep into the bedrock up to 1,500 ft. Missouri Riverbank Filtration System, North Dakota In October 2014, Jared Abraham led a XRI AEM survey along the Missouri River between Bismarck, ND and Garrison Dam on Lake Sakakawea, in support of streambed sediment characterization for sighting a riverbank filtration system planned by the North Dakota State Water Commission. This survey, which covered over 1,800 line-km along the Missouri River corridor, provided detailed profiles of the character of the sediments beneath the Missouri River and the adjacent alluvial plain that sit atop Tertiary bedrock strata. XRI also conducted a groundbased resistivity survey of particular areas of interest where a partnering contractor had drilled a series of geologic test holes. This ground survey, which covered a distance of approximately 4.5 4

miles, provided greater understanding of the streambed material thickness between the test holes (Meglich et al., 2015). Fort Peck Indian Reservation, Montana In October 2014, Jared Abraham led an XRI survey over the Fort Peck Reservation in northeastern Montana, which included the East Poplar Oil Field. This survey collected AEM and magnetic data in support of an ongoing subsurface contaminate plume study. A total of 1,330 line-km were flown for this survey. Results are proprietary. Permian Basin - West Texas In February and July 2014, led by Jared Abraham, James Cannia, and Ted Asch, XRI acquired a cumulative total of over 5,435 line-km of AEM survey data over several areas of the southern Permian Basin in west Texas for a partnering water supply company. The objective of these flights was to characterize brackish aquifer conditions in Cretaceous and Triassic strata on the southern edge of the Permian Basin to provide water supply support for the energy industry. At some locations, ground-based dc resistivity, audio-magnetotelluric, time-domain electromagnetic, and seismic surveys were conducted to ensure the quality of the AEM data and to provide further insight into delineating the contacts between the underlying strata. Borehole geophysical data were also collected and integrated into the interpretations. A limited section of the study was presented at the 2015 SAGEEP meeting in Austin TX. (Abraham, et al. 2015b) Project findings for this survey are proprietary. Lower Elkhorn Natural Resources District (LENRD) Beginning in August 2013, James Cannia and Jared Abraham led an XRI Geophysics AEM survey and built a hydrogeological framework of the area around the towns of Clarkson and Howells, Nebraska for the LENRD. The purpose of the study was to address the water resource concerns of the LENRD in the area between the towns of Clarkson and Howells. This area experienced record groundwater declines during 2012 that caused the LENRD to look for additional information on the groundwater of the area. Results of this study indicated the AEM system had depths of penetration in excess of 900 ft with good resolution of the subsurface. The study also confirmed the presence of limited aquifer materials (sands and gravels) within the Quaternary-age glacial deposits. An added benefit of the study was the mapping of the Cretaceous-age Dakota Sandstone underlying the Quaternary-age deposits which could be an additional source of water for the towns of Clarkson and Howells (Abraham et al., 2014). Based on the success of the Clarkson and Howells survey the LENRD contracted XRI to conduct a three-mile grid survey over areas of their NRD beginning in Approximately 1,100 line-km of AEM data were collected to provide a framework to define management areas within the LENRD. Lower Platte South Natural Resources District (LPSNRD), Nebraska In August 2013, a project led by James Cannia and Jared Abraham while working for XRI conducted an AEM survey totaling 1,331 line-km over three separate flight blocks in southern Butler and Saunders Counties, NE which resulted in a hydrogeological framework of the area between the towns of Dwight, Brainerd, and Valparaiso. The purpose of the study was to assist the Lower Platte South Natural Resources District (LPSNRD) in groundwater management 5

planning in the northwest part of the district. In addition to the airborne survey, ground-based time-domain electromagnetic data were acquired at four sounding locations for AEM data quality assurance. Results indicated the presence of aquifer materials in paleovalleys, aquitard thickness, potential groundwater recharge areas, connectivity of surface water and groundwater, and Cretaceous bedrock topography. Osage Nation Groundwater In 2013 Jared Abraham, while at XRI, led a 2,511-line km AEM survey of Osage County, OK. This investigation was conducted to assist in the delineation of saline groundwater beneath the county in support of ongoing water resources investigations for the Osage Nation. Pagan Island In July of 2013, while at XRI, Jared Abraham and Ted Asch led a program to collect 1,000 linekm of airborne magnetic data over the remote Pagan Island in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. This project was initiated for the hazard mapping of the island for the Department of Defense. (Asch et al., 2014; Asch et al., 2015; Irons et al., 2015) World Bank National Project on Aquifer Management (NAQUIM) While at the USGS, Jared Abraham was contracted by the World Bank to serve as a subject matter expert and reviewer for the World bank NAQUIM project in India. The project collected AEM data in six unique environments to understand the usefulness of the data for groundwater management throughout India. Geoscience Australia Broken Hill Managed Aquifer Recharge While at the USGS, Jared Abraham served as a technical advisor to Geoscience Australia on the use of 33,000 line-km of AEM for the location of managed aquifer recharge (MAR) locations within the saline waters of the Menindee Lakes region of New South Wales. (Lawrie et al., 2012) Colorado AEM surveys in San Luis Valley and Paradox Valley While at the USGS, Jared Abraham, Jim Cannia, and Ted Asch, through a training program sponsored by the Department of Defense Task Force for Business Stabilization secured funding to acquire approximately 3,000-line km of AEM data for use in training geophysicists of the Afghanistan Geological Survey in the methods of AEM. Surveys were flown in the San Luis Valley and the Paradox Valley with the SkyTEM 304 system (Abraham et al, 2012; Bedrosian et al., 2012). The training also included an airborne Gravity Gradiometer survey flown over the San Luis Valley totaling 1,975 line-km (Drenth et al., 2013) Fort Yukon Permafrost Mapping While at the USGS, Jared Abraham and Jim Cannia led a permafrost mapping project in Fort Yukon AK. The project collected 1,762 line-km in the Yukon Flats area. (Abraham, 2011b, Ball et al, 2011, Minsley, et al., 2012, Pastnik, et al., 2013) CJTFHOA- Kenya Ministry of Water and Irrigation Geophysical Training While working for the USGS in 2008, Jared Abraham led a program of capacity building sponsored by the Combined Task Force Horn of Africa to carry our geophysical training for the 6

Kenyan Ministry of Water. A course was given were participants from the Ministry of Water, Department of Defense Ministry of Mining and mineral and staff and students from the University of Nairobi attended. Afghanistan Mineral Surveys While at the USGS, Jared Abraham, Ted Asch and Jim Cannia implemented a plan for the collection of 50,000 line-km of Magnetics, EM and Radiometric over several mineral deposits within Afghanistan. Specification were drawn up and an open bidding process was successful and a contract was negotiated for the acquisition. Western Nebraska While at the USGS, Jim Cannia and Jared Abraham led an effort to collect 6,115 line-km of data to map the aquifer configuration from 2008 to (Abraham et al., 2011c; Hobza et al., 2014) Afghanistan Airborne Geophysical Survey While at the USGS, Jared Abraham led a team including the Navy Research Laboratory to collect 60,000 line-km of airborne magnetic and gravity data in 2008 and 90,000 line-km of magnetic and gravity data in (Shenwary et al., 2011; AGF et al., 2008; AGF et al., 2007) Tooele Army Depot While at the USGS, Ted Asch conducted a study to interpretation the results of an AEM survey at the Tooele Army Depot (Asch, 2005). Central Transantarctic Airborne Geophysical Project Jared Abraham, while at the USGS, was the acquisition geophysicist for the collection of 32,000 line-km of magnetics data. This was a team of the BGRM and the USGS using both helicopter and fixed wing aircraft (Anderson et al., 2006). Additional Qualifications While at the USGS, Ted Asch and Jared Abraham developed the specification for the collection of Airborne EM, magnetics, and radiometric data for the Crustal Imaging and Characterization Team. These specifications have been used within the USGS and externally by many groups since Ted Asch and Jared Abraham have served as contract reviewers and subject matter experts overseeing many government geophysical projects. These have included airborne geophysical surveys, ground geophysical surveys, and UXO surveys.
