Return Evolution Test Geologic Time Scale Project. Students will be grouped together to research a geologic period. Students will research their assigned period and create a short 2-3 slide keynote to show to the whole class on Tuesday. Differentiation: Students may work with seat partner. TOD: List one fact you learned about your assigned Geologic Period. Kick-Off, Geologic Time Scale Graphic Organizer, Summarizer ipad, internet access with wifi, OLC, MetaMoji Note, Keynote

Kickoff/Activator: (10 min.) KO: What are the 3 Geologic Time Eras? List one fact about each. Procedures/Technology/ Performance Tasks: (40 min.) Student presentations: Student groups will share their keynote presentation with the class. Students not presenting will complete a graphic organizer over the Geologic periods. Direct instruction: Introduction in the Geologic Time Scale. Students will work in pairs to complete the Geologic Time Scale Activity found on the OLC with hyperlink to internet site. Depending on time left in class this may be started next day Differentiation: Students will be working/presenting in partners. TOD: Which period did you find the most interesting, why?
