Food, culture and occupation, tourist places in the states of northern mountains,discussion of workbook & map related to chapter) Week 4: (23 rd April to 27 th April) Chapter 22. Our goals, rights and duties. (Our national goals, democracy, socialism, secularism, fundamental rights and duties, discussion of work book related to chapter). Syllabus to be completed in the month of May Chapter 4. The Northern plains 5. Life of people in the Northern Plains. 6. The Western Desert Week 1: (30 th April to 5 th May) Chapter -4 The Northern plains (location & extent of the northern plains, why are they fertile? Three basin of northern plains& map work related to chapter.) Week 2: (7 th May to 11 th May) Chapter-5 life of people in Northern Plains (States in the northern plains, food culture and occupation, tourists places, industries and main crops of the northern plains&revision of syllabus of first periodic test). Week 3: (14 th May to 19 th May)Revision of syllabus of first periodic test. Week 4:(21 th May to 26 th May) Chapter-6 The Western Desert (location of the Western Desert climatic conditions, rivers and vegetation in deserts& map work related to chapter).

Week 3: (16 th to 21 st July) chapter 9: Life of people in Southern Plateau (States in the southern plateau, food, crops and culture of these states, tourists places of these states&map work related to chapter). Week 4: (23 rd to27 th July) Discussionof work book related to above mentioned chapters. Syllabus to be completed in the month of August Chapter 10: The Coastal Plains and Islands.
