2 NORTH KIOWA-BIJOU DESIGNATED GROUND WATER BASIN 08 This report represents water level measurement data for the North KiowaBijou Ground Water Management District for the 08 season. The project was performed in cooperation with the Management District and with local well owners. Funding for the project is supplied in part from well permit fees collected and managed by the Office of the State Engineer as a cash fund designated for use in obtaining ground water information throughout the state. A total of 36 wells were measured in February 08. These wells are all part of the observation well network that has measured for many years. Records on at least one well date back to 936, however, measurements from most of the wells date from the 950's 9's. A map is included with the report showing the locations of the monitoring wells in the basin. Additionally, the report a map water changes from 03 to 08, Water level changes for 36 wells measured between 07 and 08 range from a decline of 0. feet in KB-25A, to an of feet in KB-38. KB-38 was anomalously low in 07 and the 08 measurement is consistent with it's long-term trend line. water change in the basin between the 07 and 08 measurements is a decline of 0.79 feet, compared to a decline of 0.8 feet between the 06 and 07 measurements. The average rate of change in for the last five years has a decline of 0.58 year, and the average annual rate of change in ground water levels for the last 0 years has been a decline of 0.65 per year. Tabular data in this report are presented for each well for the previous 0 years. Graphical data are presented for the entire period of record. Information concerning bedrock wells for the Denver Basin Aquifers will available in June of each year and can be obtained from the Office of the State Engineer. Complete tabular for Kiowa-Bijou Ground Water Basin are available by calling the Office of the State Engineer. I...JULIC;i:> of the report can from the Office of Engineer, Records Section, 33 Sherman St., Room 82, Denver, CO 803, (3) Additionally, this data may acc:es:sed on internet at the Colorado Decision Support System website :::.:::..:...==== exported to a of different formats.
