He is a former high-tech executive who was looking to do something entirely different than the rat race in his precious spare time. This started his over 30 years of fascination with orchids. He has been involved with several orchid societies over the years and has been chairman of the Annual Fascination of Orchids Show & Sale, now at South Coast Plaza Village, for over 20 years. At our June get together, he would like to share some of the things that he has learned in a Back to Basics presentation. This may be helpful to our many new members and perhaps be of interest to our longer term growers as we all learn something from each other.
