3 . How to move a map. Map Control Click and drag the mouse to the upper right corner. As you drag to the upper right, the map moves to the bottom left corner. If you move the mouse while keep pressing the left button, then the map moves to the opposite direction of where the mouse moves. --
4 . How to zoon in and out a map. Map Control The zoom controls (zoom-in and out buttons) and your scroll wheel allows you to enlarge or reduce the size of the page. -4-

How to inquire predicted current (ROMS model) To check predicted current (ROMS model).how to inquire Ocean Currents Data If you check [Predicted current (ROMS model)] from the list on the left side of the screen, the screen displays ocean currents data estimated by oceanographic model. Arrows show ocean currents data, color and size of the arrows display the speed and direction of the currents, respectively. The colors of data are defined in a legend. -5-

How to inquire other forecasts 4 5 If you check [wind speed/direction, atmospheric pressure at the surface of water and wave] from the list on the left side of the screen, the screen displays the data of weather forecasts, atmospheric pressure at the surface of water and wave estimated based on UM model and WW model. The map shows wind speed/direction of a selected point. The map shows atmospheric pressure at the surface of water of a selected point. 4 The map shows wave data of a selected point. 5 If you check more than two items, one single popup window shows multiple items. -0-

How to inquire real-time observations 4 5 If you check [tidal station/ocean observatory/ocean buoy] near each port from the list on the left side of the screen, the location of the request is marked on the map. How to inquire graphs for real-time observations To check observatory station in real-time Click an icon for each observatory station Click the graph icon 4 5 It shows the date of the observation on the graph, and it is adjustable. Users can change the dates in a range of - 5 days to + days. It is possible to select different real-time observatories from the list. The graph shows oceanographic data that are collected in real-time. If you select an ocean buoy, the data of wave height will be shown, and if you select a tidal station, the data of tide will be provided. 4 The data is displayed on the table. The data is based on one date in the table. 5 It is possible to download the data in a XML format. * At the top, it displays data of wave height and tide, and at the bottom, it shows data of wind direction and current direction. --

How to inquire navigational hazards To check navigational hazards If you check [navigational hazards] from the list on the left side of the screen, the screen displays the corresponding data. Each icon is displayed on the corresponding location on the map with different icon images. The types of hazards are defined in a legend. -4-

Other layers To check ocean forecasts If you check [ocean forecasts] from the list on the left side of the screen, the screen displays forecast overview of selected port. The forecast overview contains weather, wave height, direction/speed of wind and predicted extreme tide height. Weather and wave height are defined in a legend. -5-
26 9. How to display bottom materials, harbor limit, route of ship and anchorage area To check harbor limit, route of ship and anchorage area 9. Other layers If you check [Harbor limit, Route of ship, Anchorage area] from the list on the left side of the screen, the screen displays the corresponding data on the map. Other functions Click the ANI button If you check [ANI button] from the list on the left side of the screen, the screen displays an animation control panel, and if you click again, it disappears. The animation control panel has several functions: start, stop, backward, and forward. If you start the animation function, the data on the screen changes over time. -7-
28 0. How to measure the distance on the map Click an icon for distance measure 0. Other functions You can turn on/off by clicking a distance measure button. When the function is on, if you click point A to point B, then it calculates and displays the distance from the two points. -8-

30 0.4 Ocean road view 0. Other functions Click a button for ocean road view You can turn on/off by clicking an ocean road view button. When the function is on, the map shows ocean road view, and if you click a light blue line, then it directs to the corresponding ocean road view web page. -0-
31 0.5 CCTV video 0. Other functions Click a button for cctv You can view the CCTV video by clicking the CCTV button. CCTV video is displayed. --
32 0.6 Language conversion 0. Other functions Click a button for korean Click the button to view it in English. The English page appears and the KOREAN button is displayed. When you press the button, the Korean page is displayed again. --
