Assessment of the situation in areas of emergency situation, assessment of potentially dangerous objects and territories, that are found in zones of high risk of emergency situation occurrence 2. Monitoring of emergency situations related to floods 3. Monitoring of wildfires 4. Assessment of emergency oil spillage, and the dynamic of their spread 5. Search for rescue boats, or boats that have incurred an accident in remote locations and waters.

13 EXAMPLES OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION OF EMERCOM OF RUSSIA IN THE FIELD OF SPACE MONITORING DURING EMERGENCY SITUATIONS 1 Based on Russian agency for disaster and emergency management of EMERCOM of Russia the regional UN-SPIDER division to be established in order to coordinate an operation between 6 countries: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Belarus Since 2013 EMERCOM of Russia is an associate member of the International Charter on Space and Major Disasters, which allows use the resources of the spacecraft Charter members in the event of an emergency Within the framework of the Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan the main function is prevention and liquidation of emergency situations in the border areas
