The regional entities who have to receive the money on account of VAR charges would then be paid out from the Regional Reactive Account, within 2 (two) working days. In case of delayed payments against this beyond twelve days from the date of issue of statement, the defaulting regional entities shall have to pay simple 0.04% for each day of delay. The interest so collected shall be paid to the regional entities who had to receive the amount, payment of which got delayed. For VAR exchanges between constituents on state owned inter-state lines in Southern Region the payment for VAR charges will be in line with clause (iii) of IEGC, as approved by the Board in 140th Meeting of SREB held on SRC Secretariat - Revised Reactive Account To / 10
