Overall Condition Date Installed 1989 and 2000 Equipment Tag Manufacturer Comments Pumps serving cooling tower = One 50 and one 30 HP, installed in 1989, fair condition. One 50 and one 30 HP, installed in 2000, good condition. Pumps serving chilled water loop = 200 HP, installed in 2000, good condition. These pumps (CHWP-4 and CHWP-5) are served by Toshiba and Yaskawa VFDs respectively. CHWP-5 is currently down and tagged for repair. Each chiller has a chilled water pump and condenser water pump (4 pumps total). 2 additional pumps connect the chillers to the chilled water loop. The HVAC system is a VAV system dependent upon the local level pressure controllers at each lab. The building is supplied with 134,000 cfm of conditioned air. Overall Condition Date Installed 1/1/1992 Recommendation Critical Issues AHU 1, 2, 3, and 4 = 66,780 sq/ft and 23,000 cfm each. AHU 5 = 18,661 sq/ft and 20,000 cfm. AHU 6 = 3921 sq/ft and 11,000 cfm. Louvers run up/down West side of building but have been sealed off and are now mostly decorative except in Room #220.
