Sebuah syarikat yang menghasilkan teh bunga raya telah mengeluarkan pernyataan berikut. A company that produces hibiscus tea has stated the following statement. TEH BUNGA RAYA UNTUK KESIHATAN YANG BAIK HIBISCUS TEA FOR A GOOD HEALTH Teh bunga raya mempunyai hormon untuk melambatkan pengecilan salur darah dan antioksidan untuk membuka arteri dalam salur darah pesakit tekanan darah tinggi. Pesakit tekanan darah tinggi mempunyai risiko yang lebih tinggi untuk menghidap penyakit jantung, strok dan kematian akibat penyakit kardiovaskular. Beberapa kajian telah dijalankan untuk mengkaji kesan meminum teh bunga raya ke atas tekanan darah tinggi. Hibiscus tea has hormones to slow down constrictions of blood vessels and antioxidants to help to open arteries in high blood pressure patients. People with high blood pressure have a higher risk for heart disease, stroke and dying from cardiovascular disease. A few studies have been carried out on the effect of drinking hibiscus tea on high blood pressure. Kajian ke atas 70 orang dengan hipertensi telah dijalankan.
