4 PAGe & Introduction Since approx.l858early prospectors came to the lilluet river area looking for gold, A small tributary creek called Tuwasis was bypassed mostly Because the gold was to fine and hard to recover-so they moved on to richer diggings. Little did people know that natives of this region learned of the value of gold, and one in particular by the name of Slumach discovered course gold in the headwaters of this creek^years later a person named Volcanic Brown noticed traces of platinum as wel^and proceeded to the headwaters looking for the source ; only to discover what Slumach found years beforeunfortunately both men met an early death and their secret lost for many years mis author and father Brian Grieve looked into old legends^and try to find if there is any truth to thenijhence I laid claim to these tenures and found good results. Access is gained by traveling to Femberton BC then heading down the road alongside Lilloet lake at the end of this lake there is a bridge crossing over the river coming o\\\ of it upon reaching opposite side of the Lilioet river turn left and proceed till you reach Tuwasis creek^o up years ago diggings were made and are_stiii evident to day some pine trees 2-4 thick

5 frg * Findings Geological formations are coast crystalline. Gravel containing large amounts of magnetite or black sand hold very fine gold, platinum, palladium, aluminum, (gold contents running up to 64gm/t platinum to # 46gm/t palladium % 47gm/t aluminum to.00% ton this was sample gravel from sites indicated on maps attached). Gravel appeared as ordinary black sand to the naked eye, this writer believes that deposits laying just above the west side of the river could hold interesting deposits, this being the old river bed. Three levels of benches rising up to approx. 200ft above the creek, each level appears to be on wide hard rock base each level being 200 to 400 feet wide
