3 The Geospatial Management Office The GMO is responsible for the policy, oversight, direction, and delivery of the Forest Service geospatial program, including geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing, UAV, cartography, photogrammetry, geodesy, and global positioning systems (GPS).
