BNEI Green Procurement Standard (BNE-ST-GN Ver. 4.0) 1. Introduction BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment issued its "Green Procurement Standard Version 1.0" in 2005, which was the first environmental protection standard in the amusement industry. Since then, we have been engaged in the management of chemical substances contained in our products across the supply chain. "Green Procurement Standard Version 2.0", revised in 2006, bans or limits 15 substance groups, including 6 substances targeted by the EU RoHS Directive, to provide eco-friendly products. We started to produce products domestically and internationally, complying with each country's laws and regulations including the EU RoHS Directive. And in April 2009 BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment, aiming to become "The leading innovator in global entertainment", formulated the "BANDAI NAMCO GAMES STANDARD (BNG-ST, Currently BNE-ST)" for 'manufacturing goods' as one of our quality assurance activities to improve our 'total quality'. 'Total quality' does not only mean the quality of the product, but also all the 'qualities' including other company activities such as development, production, sales, repair and commitment to the environment. Quality assurance policy and Quality assurance action standards were also established in This embodied our concept of providing a sense of satisfaction and sense of reliability for all our products and services. Safe and secure product manufacturing is dramatically impacted by the times and the social circumstances that surround our environment; at times the targets may be out of sight or unattainable. Product manufacturing is however not realized by our initiatives alone, but rather require the cooperation of all. Our green procurement activities cannot be implemented without our suppliers' understanding and cooperation. Therefore, we hereby ask for your continued support and cooperation to promote our partnership with you. 4/23

BNEI Green Procurement Standard (BNE-ST-GN Ver. 4.0) 2. Objective BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment has promoted environmental protection activities under our CSR policy, and, as part of this policy, engages in green procurement. Our green procurement aims to help reduce environmental stress in the market through our business activities by proactively purchasing eco-friendly parts, materials, half-finished products, finished products, promotional goods, packaging material and so on from suppliers who are eager to undertake environmental protection activities. 5/23

BNEI Green Procurement Standard (BNE-ST-GN Ver. 4.0) 3. Scope This policy applies to the following items comprising electronic and electric products sold by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment. Parts Materials Half-Finished Products Finished Products Promotional Goods Packaging Materials The products mentioned above may become out of the scope in consideration of related laws and regulations, or depending on whether there is an alternative material or not. Also, when OEM products specified by the suppliers or the products manufactured by other companies are sold, the suppliers' green procurement standards may prevail over our standard; thus, they become out of the scope of this green procurement standard. 6/23

BNEI Green Procurement Standard (BNE-ST-GN Ver. 4.0) 6. Documents to Be Submitted before Starting Business Deals (Evaluation of Suppliers) 1) Submission of CSR procurement questionnaire survey Consumers are becoming increasingly concerned about the social and environmental impact of the entire supply chain, thus placing demands on businesses to implement CSR not only within their own company, but throughout the entire supply chain. We assess compliance and CSR implementation by requiring our suppliers to submit questionnaire surveys. We ask for your cooperation in responding to the questionnaire survey. Suppliers need only submit the survey once (please contact us however if there is any change in the contents). Submission of CSR procurement questionnaire survey, inquiries 11/23

BNEI Green Procurement Standard (BNE-ST-GN Ver. 4.0) Targets of CSR procurement questionnaire survey In the case where the supplier is a 'manufacturer' All the business sites where manufacturing products, etc., to be delivered to BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment should be the evaluation target (the business sites where no products, etc., to be delivered to BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment are manufactured should be out of the target). However, even the sites where no products, etc., are manufactured and are to be delivered to BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment should be the evaluation target in case the sites are related to the management system for chemical substance content in products within the business sites as the evaluation target. In the case where a different management system for chemical substance content in products is used for respective business sites, the evaluation should be done for each business site. In case all the business sites use the same management system for chemical substance content in products, only one site becomes the evaluation target. Business Site A (Manufacturing products for delivery) Business Site B (Manufacturing products for delivery) Business Site C (Manufacturing no products for delivery) Out of target In case the supplier is a "trading company" In principle, trading companies operating as our direct suppliers are the evaluation target. Product Source (Manufacturing products for delivery) Supplier (Trading Company) 12/23
