3 Conference (First 1 1/2 days) New Initiatives of the various Divisions of PAGASA; New Initiatives from water-related Agencies and Disaster Risk Reduction Offices including LGUs; 6. 2nd PAGASA River Basin Flood Forecasting and Warning Center (RBFFWC) Conference/Workshop PRSDs and Hydro-Met Personnel working as Hydrologists Hotel in Quezon City Workshop (1-1/2 days) Review and Highlights of the 2017 operational and field activities of the HMD/ PRSDs Flood Forecasting Centers; Review of JICA-PAGASA Project Manuals; and Proposed Projects of FFW Centers operational Hydrologists, including the following: a. Designation of TWGs per project b. Election of Project Leaders 08 May 4 days

In depth training on the Application of Hydrologic Engineering Center (HEC)-Hydrologic Modelling System (HMS) Hydrologists; 1 st week: Overall discussion on the application of HEC- HMS, both structural and non-structural; possible inputs of the HEC-HMS; various models of the HEC-HMS suite; Calibration and verification procedures; and outputs of the various models 04 June 2 weeks 2 nd Week: Calilbration and Verification of the HEC- HMS using the participants hydrologic data to determine which model is/are appropriate for their respective basin; and Presentation of outputs by participants
