Tenderfoot Ground netics LOCATIO AD ACCESS The Tenderfoot project is located just north of Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada (see Figure 1 ). Figure 1: Overview map of the Tenderfoot project located in BC, Canada. The project can be accessed from Kamloops, closest city to the survey region, which is approximately 35 km southeast of the Tenderfoot project. The project area can be accessed from Kamloops by the following directions: 2
Tenderfoot Ground netics From Kamloops, drive west along Hwy 1, approximately 30 km pass the small town of Savona; Continue on Hwy 1 for approximately 5 km north of Savona, take a right turn onto Sabiston Creek Road, drive up hill, following the dirt road approximately 15 km which leads directly into the survey grid. See Figure 2. The vegetation on the survey area consisted of sagebrush and wild grasses with douglas fir. Deer and black bears were spotted in the region during the survey time. Figure 2: Location map for the Tenderfoot project showing towns and road access. 3
Tenderfoot Ground netics GRID IFORMATIO The Tenderfoot survey grid consisted of 34 survey lines (Figure 3). Table 2 describes the grid parameters. o actual grid preparation (line clearing. flagging or staking) was completed for this project. The magnetic crew navigated to their survey stations with the aid of their integrated GPS magnetometers. All of the survey location information were recorded by the SJ Geophysics crew internally in the GEM GSM-19 magnetometers. The location data is based on the UTM Zone 10 projection and AD83 datum. Grid Tenderfoot umber of Surveyed Lines 34 Survey Line Azimuth 90º Line Spacing 100 m Station Spacing 10 m Elevation range m Table 2: Grid parameters For data processing and internal database usage, line and station labels for the grid were based on the UTM coordinates, with the line labels being represented by the last five digits in the UTM northing and the station labels represented by the last four digits in the UTM easting. Please refer to Appendix A for a detailed breakdown of the survey lines. The terrain is rolling and open in the central portion and getting steep on east and west edges of the grid. The northern portion of the survey lines are mostly on a steep hill and end on a relatively flat plateau on the eastern ends of the line. Temperature at the Tenderfoot project ranged from around 10 ºC at night up to 20 ºC during the day. Precipitation was minimal at this time of year so the conditions were dry. 4

Tenderfoot Ground netics FIELD WORK AD ISTRUMETATIO 4.1. Survey Parameters and Instrumentation The SJ Geophysics crew utilized the GEM GSM-19 Overhauser with integrated GPS magnetometer system to collect magnetic data for this survey. The specifications of these instruments are listed in Appendix B and the equipment parameters are summarized in Table 3. netometer GEM GSM-19 Overhauser netometer Station Spacing 10 m Base Unit Reading Interval 20 seconds Measured Property Total magnetic field Table 3: netometer instrument parameters For the netometer survey a stationary base unit was used to record the diurnal variation in the total magnetic field at 20 second intervals. The mobile units, known as rovers, recorded the total magnetic field every 10 m along the grid survey lines. Calibration measurements were taken by the rover units at the start and end of each day to account for levelling of multiple rovers and verify operator noise. Table 4 shows the UTM locations of the magnetic base station and calibration point. ame UTM orthing UTM Easting AD83 Zone 10 AD83 Zone 10 netic Base Station netic Calibration Point Table 4: Locations of magnetic base station and magnetic calibration point 6
Tenderfoot Ground netics Field Logistics SJ Geophysics' magnetometer survey field crew consisted of two field geophysicist for the day-to-day operation of the survey. The lead field geophysicist oversees all operational aspects including field logistics, processing and initial field data quality control. Table 5 lists the SJ Geophysics crew members on this project. Crew Member ame Role Dates on Site Jan Dobrescu Field Geophysicist September 30 October 8, 2013 Pavel Dubchak Field Geophysicist September 30 October 7, 2013 Mat Kootchin Field Geophysicist October 7 October 8, 2013 Table 5: Details of the SJ Geophysics crew on site The SJ Geophysics crew's first day on site at the Tenderfoot was September 30, 2013 and they remained on site through October 8, On October 7 th, one crew member was swapped out near the end of the project part way through the day with no disruption in production. During the course of the geophysical survey, the SJ Geophysics crew conducted an initial safety meeting as well as daily tailgate meetings. The safety meetings include a comprehensive review of safe work practices specific to our geophysical surveys and field operations. At the tailgate meetings, personnel discussed issues related to: changing weather conditions (including ramifications on the survey/personal safety), encounters with or sightings of potentially problematic wildlife, efficient organization of daily tasks, and any other work-related questions or concerns. The SJ Geophysics crew was accommodated at a motel in Savona. Food for breakfast and lunch was purchased from the local supermarket and dinners eaten in local restaurants. Wi-Fi internet was provided by the motel for use by all guests. Cell phone coverage was available on the survey grid for emergency communication. A truck supplied by SJ Geophysics Ltd. was used as daily transportation for the survey. The magnetometer survey was constrained to a budget that would allow approximately seven days of survey. The crew began in the south on Line and progressed north towards a homestead existing near line The crew jumped to north and began progressing to the 7
Tenderfoot Ground netics south while clarification on the exclusion zone around the homestead was resolved. The final day the crew cleaned up small sections of lines around the homestead. The survey progressed smoothly and there were no safety issues occurring during the survey period. The steep sections and not having any prepared grid did slow the crew only some, thus not quite finishing everything they expected within the budgeted time period. As a result, a gap of seven lines does exist in the data. 5. QUALITY ASSURACE 5.1. Locations Good quality survey location data is crucial to successful analysis and interpretation of the collected geophysical data. The quality of the location data for this survey is generally high thanks to good satellite reception and open terrain netometer Data All magnetometer data is run through an in-house quality control sequence to ensure the cleanest magnetic data possible. Space weather is monitored to recognize non-terrestrial influences on the data. netic calibration points are measured at the beginning and the end of each survey day. A diurnal correction is also applied to all the survey data. Field crew members make note of metal cultural features (e.g. fences, pipelines) encountered during the survey that could cause spikes in the data. Prior to gridding, a stacked profile of the measured magnetic intensity is plotted. on-natural, large-magnitude spikes in the magnetic data are then either removed by hand or filtered. Following these quality control steps, magnetic data is prepared for gridding and mapping. 8
Tenderfoot Ground netics GEOPHYSICAL TECHIQUES 6.1. netic Survey Method netic intensity measurements are conducted along survey lines (normally on a regular grid) and are used to identify metallic mineralization related to magnetic materials in the ground (e.g., magnetite and/or pyrrhotite). netic data are also used as a mapping tool to distinguish rock types and to identify faults, bedding, structure and alteration zones. Line and station spacing are usually determined by the size and depth of the exploration targets. The most common technique used in mineral exploration is to measure the amplitude of the magnetic field using an overhauser magnetometer. The instrument digitally records the survey line, station, total magnetic field and time of day at each station. After each day of surveying, data are downloaded to a computer for archiving and further processing. The earth s magnetic field is continually changing (diurnal variations) so field measurements are calibrated to these variations. The most accurate technique is to establish a stationary base station magnetometer to continually monitor and record the magnetic field over the course of a day. The base station and field magnetometers are synchronized on the basis of time and computer software is used to correct the field data for the diurnal variations. Respectfully submitted, per SJ Geophysics Ltd. Brian Chen 9
