Possible problem could be due to dirt Installed additional Aston weather stations for testing on the East side of the field site Grass cutting undertaken - broke Concrete thermometer (replaced same day) Rain gauge maintenance - fast response gauge blocked ~50 mm measured - however error in this measurement Cut grass Cut grass. Broke Tgrass thermocouple probe, quick fix applied will require replacement Replaced wetbulb wicks Power cut lead to loss of power to site and most of university. Batteries were replaced when required. Power back on at Elms Cottage Aginova Sentinel Micro probes placed on BUST for field trials Downloaded Tinytag data - replaced 18:00 Replaced wicks on thermometers 7

Tower re-errected after maintence - anemometer serviced and pyranometer connected and levelled Weeding undertaken on bare soil square New WXT weather station and mast installed on BUST and transmitting data Photos, metadata, sketches taken Aginova Sentinel Micro Probes removed from BUST. Data communication issues - data missing/overwritten - Start of period Data stream re-starts after forced collection on 16/9/13 Grass cutting. New slab added for concrete temperature - sensor out of action as not fixed. Concrete temperature probe re-attached to slab so operational again Changed wicks and cleaned screen Updated SVF photograph and sensor location photo taken 8
