2 UPM workshops bring together scientists, manufacturers and vendors in a collaborative and informative environment. Traditionally, the workshops were hosted every two years in Germany by Optonet and the Fraunhofer IOF. The 2017 workshop is the first UPM workshop to be held in China and builds upon the foundations of previous events in Germany. We are happy to announce that future UPM workshops will be held annually at IOF in even-numbered years and at CIOMP in odd-numbered years to encourage and enhance broader communication and international cooperation.
