3 1 SESSION ONE MAY 28-JUNE 7 KIDS CLUB (GRADES K-2) In this camp, campers will be involved in a variety of activities that take place on-site or within walking distance. C OST: $ O N E WE EK: $ 225 DAILY: $ 60 LITTLE ARTIST (GRADES K-6) Get your drawing hands warmed up! RAC is ready to present a camp that helps kids learn basic drawing and painting techniques in a variety of mediums. Come explore the world of charcoal, oil pastels, watercolors, and acrylics, drawing subjects like cartoons, still life, animals, and landscapes! Campers will also learn about many different artists, art styles, and periods of art. Sounds like a masterpiece. 4 2 SESSION TWO JUNE ART EXPLORATION Campers will explore many facets of the arts by visiting many different studios and museums located in nearby Liberty Station Arts District. Campers will get to experience dance, digital arts, ceramics, and of course drawing and painting. This camp will make you feel like you are a jack of all trades. C O S T: $ GAME ON Game On will feature a variety of tournaments covering video games, board games, playground games, and game shows. Campers will be placed in teams which will accumulate points throughout the camp. Campers will enjoy having mini t o u r n a m e n t s a t G a m e E m p i r e, D a v e a n d B u s t e r s, N i c k e l C i t y, a n d m u c h m o r e. C O S T : $ ( WA I V E R S N E E D E D ) MUSICAL THEATER Audition, rehearse, and present an entire show and entire show for an audience! This summer s camp blockbuster will be The Lion King. During the 2 weeks, campers will learn some of the main elements of theatre: rehearsal, design sets, p r a c t i c e c h o r e o g r a p h y, p o s t e r m a k i n g, m a k e u p a n d m o r e. C a m p e r s w i l l p e r f o r m f o r friends and family on the last day of the session, July 5th. Give your camper the opportunity to boost their skills in the kitchen by learning how to whip up a variety of dishes which can be easily prepared at home. 10 CAMP POLICIES + GENERAL INFORMATION *IMPORTANT* PLEASE READ! MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT GENERAL INFORMATION In order to attend Rock Academy Camps, your child s Fifth (5) birthday must be before December 2, RAC LEADERS IN TRAINING AGE POLICY Register online through link on page one. There is a $30 non-refundable registration fee for each child. A $25 deposit is due with completed registration for each camp. This deposit is non-transferable and non-refundable. A confirmation will be sent out with further information about each camp. Phone-in or i n - p e r s o n r e g i s t r a t i o n f o r m s w i l l N OT b e a c c e p t e d. TRANSFER & REFUND POLICY PAYMENT PROCEDURE ELEMENTARY CAMPER AGE POLICY I n o r d e r t o a t t e n d L e a d e r s I n Tr a i n i n g y o u r c h i l d m u s t be between the ages of CAMP TRANSFER POLICY Pa r e n t s m a y t r a n s f e r f r o m o n e c a m p t o a n o t h e r w i t h i n the same session if there is space available. If the transfer is completed at least two weeks prior to the s e s s i o n s t a r t d a t e, t h e r e i s n o f i n a n c i a l p e n a l t y. I f t h e transfer is done after this period, a $25 late transfer charge will be applied. CAMP REFUND POLICY All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Children absent 3 or more days in a session due to illness or injury may receive a prorated credit or refund. Credit or refund requests must be submitted in writing for director approval within one week of the absence and must include a doctor s note. Credit and refunds will not be issued for missed days due to a vacation. All camp fees are non-refundable one week prior to the session start date. If we cancel a camp, you will receive a full refund or credit toward a n o t h e r R A C a c t i v i t y. CAMPS THAT INCLUDE SWIMMING Campers must bring a towel, bathing suit, and sunscreen for some or all of the activities related to this camp. A proper change of clothes, hat, and backpack or beach bag are recommended. Campers may be required to take a swim test for this camp, with the exception of Kids Club. If your child does not pass they will not be able to participate in pool/ocean activities. Campers may wear sandals/flip-flops during water activities, but must have closed-toed shoes on while on-campus. REGISTRATION PROCEDURE Balances remaining after deposit will be due the M O N D AY, o n e w e e k p r i o r t o t h e s t a r t o f e a c h c a m p. If it is not paid, an automatic payment will be made on the card that was used to pay the deposit. There is a $10 late fee for payments received after the due date or for sign-ups on the first day of the camp session. RELEASE WAIVERS Yo u w i l l r e c e i v e y o u r c a m p c o n f i r m a t i o n a l o n g w i t h any required release waivers via within two weeks of registration. It is your responsibility to contact RAC if you do not receive the confirmation or the proper release waivers. Required release waivers are noted on inside camp descriptions. SUNSCREEN P l e a s e b e s u r e t o s e n d y o u r c h i l d t o c a m p w i t h S P F- 3 0 or higher with child s name clearly marked. Sunscreen will be applied at least 3 times during the d a y. Yo u r c h i l d s s u n s c r e e n w i l l b e k e p t w i t h t h e c a m p to ensure that it can be applied daily and is not lost or misplaced. TRAVELING CAMPS All campers are expected to understand and follow transportation rules. Drivers try to keep a consistent schedule of arrival and departure times. Times may v a r y p e r c a m p, p e r d a y. E a c h d a y d r i v e r s p e r f o r m a pre-trip inspection of their assigned bus. Buses and vans are routinely inspected by the California H i g h w a y Pa t r o l ; b u s e s c a n n o t b e o p e r a t e d w i t h o u t a passed inspection.

Please do not go out to the field when dropping off or picking up your child. LATE PICK-UP POLICY A $2 per minute late fee per child will be charged to the person picking up the child(ren).
