1 This calendar includes the events for ISM from June thru August. We hope you will engage in ISM Rallies, Service Nights, Road Trips, and join us for our other ISM activities and events throughout the summer of 2015! Jon Bell Student Ministries Pastor
2 STUDENTMINISTRIES SUMMER 2015 DETAIL OF EVENTS ISM Road Trips ISM Road Trips are events where students will meet at the homes of Impact families for food, swimming (depending on location), games, and tons of fun! Time is from 6-9pm! BRING: Snack to Share Guys (Drink); Girls (Snack chips, cookies, fruit, veggies, etc ) Swim wear (modest, please) MIDDLE SCHOOL LOCATIONS Struckmeyers (6.17) Bailey Dr. NE Hogans (7.22) Service Rd Ettingers (8.26) 3947 Murray View HIGH SCHOOL LOCATIONS Ettingers (6.17) 3947 Murray View Zimmermans (7.22) 2575 Gulliford Dr. Struckmeyers ( ) Bailey Dr. NE ISM SERVE We want our students to experience the joy of serving others, so this summer we will be participating by giving time and energy to help others in our community. This will mean serving at F.R.O.M., our schools, and other organizations in our community. On these weeks, we will meet at Impact and then go out to serve. Time frame is from 6-9pm! If you are interested in driving for such events, please let us know! Let s put legs to our faith and serve! ISM Serve Dates: June 24 July 29 LOVE WEEK On July 13-17, ISM is partnering with adults and kids at Impact to love and serve our community through tangible ways. Stay tuned for specific times (morning, afternoon, and evening serving opportunities will be available) and locations for serving our schools and community! ISM Rallies Join us on rally nights for highenergy worship, interactive games, a message from God s word, and more! On these nights, we will meet at Impact from 6-9pm for a combined middle and high school rally! ISM RALLY NIGHTS June 10 Hello Summer July 8 August 19 More info?
3 STUDENTMINISTRIES SUMMER 2015 DETAIL OF EVENTS H.I.S. HOME BIKE RIDE H.I.S. Home is an orphanage in Haiti that we will be supporting on June 22. There is a bike ride to raise money for the orphanage, and we will be a rest/lunch stop for the bikers. Meet at Impact from 9:00am- 12pm to help serve lunch to those raising money for H.I.S. Home! NOTE: You may donate Wal-Mart gift cards as well for the organization to buy formula for the orphanage. VELZEN s Slip-N-SLIDE Come out to Marcus and Bess House on Saturday, July 25 for a slipn-slide of epic proportions! You don t want to miss this! MICHIGAN s ADVENTURE Roller coasters + water slides + awesome students = ISM Michigan s Adventure Outing! On Wednesday, August 5, we will be heading to Michigan s Adventure for a day of fun and craziness! Time Frame: 8:30am 11pm Cost: $30 Bring: Sack Lunch or $$ for Food Modest Swimwear & Towel ISM at the Fair Who doesn t love some greasy fair food, carnival rides, and taking a walk to see all the fair animals? Meet up with ISM from 6-9pm for fun at the fair on August 12th! Please bring money for food and/or rides. Lake Louise Camp Do you love campfires, swimming on the lake, meeting new friends, exploring your gifts, and connecting with God in a fresh way? Then check out Lake Louise Camp! Camp (Living In Full Effect) 8th grade (finished) - 12th grade July $396 ($50 off for first time Lake Louise Camp in Boyne Falls, MI lakelouisecommunity.org/life SUMMER ARTS EXPLOSION This weeklong program is open to our students and includes everything from art to cake making to dance to drama to photography to music and much more! This program is July from 9:30am-1:45pm! The extension of Summer Arts is from 1:45pm-3:00pm. The Summer Arts Expo is July 30 from 3:30pm-5pm.
