1 KC281 Heating and cooling in 2-conductor system Tender specification, range available and sizes Tender specification Version KC281 heating and cooling in 2-pipe system Ready-to-install floor pans for the floor. Operating principle: Forced convection with cross-flow fan for heating and cooling in 2-pipe system. Sturdy floor pan made of galvanised sheet steel, coloured in anthracite grey (RAL 016), external, adjustable and acoustically decoupled height adjustments (pre-installed). Condensate pan integrated in the floor pan, incl. two drain connections (Ø 1 mm) on the sides. Register made of copper pipes and aluminium fins, anthracite grey (RAL016) coated and mounted in transversal steel girder of galvanised sheet steel, acoustically decoupled. Standard to the face or room side euro taper connection with union nut ( / 4 internal thread) and air vent. Suitable for a max. operating pressure of bar (optionally 16 bar) and a max. operating temperature of 90 C. Operating principle Forced convection for heating Cold air from the window areas and cooled air are drawn in and transported through the heat exchanger. Heated air rises. Installation in front of window areas provides a specific shielding against cold air. For more information, see chapter "General information" Forced convection for cooling Warm air is drawn in, cooled in the register and discharged into the room as cooled air. Installation in front of window areas provides a specific shielding against the thermal radiation due to solar irradiation. For more information, see chapter "General information". Cross-flow fan already installed in the floor pan parallel to the heat register (cross-flow fan on window side). Protective cover over the cross-flow fan. Cross-flow fan with energy-saving EC motors 24 V, wired ready for connection. Low-noise fan operation, infinitely variable via analogue interface (0 V). Actuator control pulse 24 V DC, infinitely variable via analogue interface (0 V). Synchronised control of fan speed and water flow for a hydraulically balanced pipe system and especially energy-efficient operation while maintaining a minimum spread between flow and return temperature. Factory configuration of appropriate control algorithm. Aluminium roll-up grille as standard. Acoustic decoupling through placement of the aluminium roll-up grille on rubber elements in the floor pan. Consisting of sturdy cross profile bars, natural colour anodised, with profile bar dimensions of 20 x 6 mm..grille with a total height of 20 mm and an open crosssection of 0%. Including installation cover and edge bar protection for protection of the trench convectors during the construction phase. QA system certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008. Environmental management system to DIN EN ISO 14001:2004. 12 Product details The new connection sets with factory preset k V valves Connection sets for the Ascotherm eco It is recommended that the Ascotherm eco be fitted with preset k v connection sets (see accessories range). On request, the installation can be done at the factory. The Ascotherm eco units are fitted with preset connection sets depending on the heating or cooling capacity. Ascotherm eco units can also be fitted with the fine-adjusting valve. The adjustable valve insert permits reproducible settings of low water flow rates. The setting values can be taken from the diagram.
