1 LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT SEMI-ANNUAL PUBLIC REPORT Pursuant to Consent Decree Paragraph 156, on a semi-annual basis, the Department placed a public report on-line that provided the following information: A summary of audits conducted pursuant to the Consent Decree; A summary of changes to Department policies related to areas mentioned in the Consent Decree; A summary of discipline imposed by type of misconduct, type of discipline, bureau, and rank; A summary of uses of force (both non-categorical and categorical) broken down by geographic Area and suspect descent; A summary of arrests broken down by geographic Area and suspect descent; and A summary of field stops broken down by geographic Area and apparent descent of the person stopped. Although the Consent Decree expired in July 2009, the Department will continue to place this Public Report on-line. The compilation will be prepared by Internal Audits and Inspections Division. Board of Police Commissioner s (Police Commission or PC) Agendas In January 2009, the Police Commission began to include hyperlinked attachments to all items presented. Since the Police Commission continues to receive all Department audits and quarterly discipline reports that were previously completed pursuant to the Consent Decree, and any significant revisions or additions to Department policies related to areas that were mentioned in the Consent Decree, these documents can by located by accessing the Police Commission s weekly agendas at: or
