2 How to get to the PHA Plans PIH One Stop Tool to PHA A Z Index to P (dropdown selections highlighted in picture above) The PHA Plan is a comprehensive guide to public housing agency (PHA) policies, programs, operations, and strategies for meeting local housing needs and goals. There are two parts to the PHA Plan: the 5 Year Plan, which each PHA submits to HUD once every 5th PHA fiscal year, and the Annual Plan, which is submitted to HUD every year. All Plans require a Public Hearing All Plans require 45 days Public Notice 75 days prior to the Agency s Fiscal Year End 2

View approved plans Qualified PHAs The Housing and Economic Recovery Act (HERA), Title VII, Small Public Housing Authorities Paperwork Reduction Act exempted qualified PHAs from the requirement to prepare and submit an annual plan. A Qualified PHA is a PHA that: totals 550 or less public housing units and section 8 vouchers; and is not designated troubled under PHAS; and has not failed SEMAP Are you qualified or not? The "Qualified" PHA list is generated from the data reported in the PIC Data Page s web page of Low Rent and Section 8 Units, and SEMAP Performance files 3
