2 Vpis v letnik študija. Opravljena kolokvija iz vaj ali pisni izpit so pogoj za pristop k ustnemu izpitu. Enrollment into the program. Positive result from qoloqia (or written exam) is necessary to enter the oral exam. Vsebina: Funkcionalne metode (integral po poti, funkcionalna kvantizacija fundamentalnih polj, simetrije v funkcionalnem formalizmu); Sistematika renormalizacije (ultraviolicne divergence, renormalizacija kvantne elektrodinamike; renormalizacija v visjih redih perturbacije); Renormalizacijska grupa (enacba Callan- Symanzika, izracun renormalizacijskih koeficientov beta in gamma funkcije, razvoj sklopitvenih konstant, renormalizacija lokalnih operatorjev, evolucija masnih parametrov); Kvantizacija neabelskih umeritvenih teorij (lagrangian Fadeev-Popova, duhovi in unitarnost, simetrija BRST, divergence v priblizku ene zanke v neabelskih umeritvenih teorijah; asimptotska svoboda); Operatorski produkti in efektivne sklopitve (renormalizacija masnih parametrov kvarkov, QCD renormalizacija sibkih interakcij, razvoj v operatorsko vsoto); Anomalije v perturbacijski teoriji (trikotni diagrami, kiralne anomalije in kiralne umeritvene teorije); Kvantizacija spontano zlomljenih umeritvenih teorij (umeritve Rxi, ekvivalencni teorem Goldstonovih bozonov, popravki v priblizku ene zanke v umeritveni teoriji sibkih interakcij); Ideje velikega poenotenja Elementi supersimetrije. Pregled teorij onkraj standardnega modela. Content (Syllabus outline): Functional methods (along the path integral, functional quantization of fundamental fields, symmetries in the functional formalism); Systematics renormalization (ultraviolet divergence, renormalization of quantum electrodynamics; renormalization in higher order of perturbation theory ); Renormalization group (equation Callan- Symanzika, calculation of renormalization coefficients, beta and gamma functions, running of coupling constants, renormalization of local operators, the evolution of mass parameters); Quantization nnonabelian gauge theories (Fadeev-Popov lagrangian, Ghosts and unitarnost, BRST symmetry, divergence in one loop approximation in neabelskihgauge theories; asymptotic freedom); Operator product expansion and effective coupling (renormalization quark mass parameters, QCD renormalization interactions incorporates development in operatorsko sum); Anomalies in perturbation theory (triangular diagrams, chiral anomalies and chiral gauge theory); Quantization of spontaneously broken gauge theories (choice of gauges, Rxi, equivalence theorem of Goldstone bosons, corrections in the approximation of one loop of the weak gauge theory); Ideas of Grand Unified theories, Elements of supersymmetry. Kompetence: Predmetno specifične kompetence: poznavanje in razumevanje načel umeritvene teorije,. Objectives and competences: Objectives: Student gets familiar with the properties of nonabelian gaugetheories, their interactions and symetry properties. Competences: Knowledge and understanding of basic principles of f gauge theories. Predvideni študijski rezultati: Znanje in razumevanje Pridobitev znanja na področjiu teoretičnih osnov fizike osnovnih delcev, teorije gravitacije in kozmologije. Uporaba S pridobljenim znanjem študent lahko pristopi vsem naprednim teoretičnim nalogam iz fizike osnovnhih delcev in teorije gravitacije. Refleksija Kritično ovrednotenje teoretičnih postopkov z uporabo relativistične teorije in kvane fizike. Prenosljive spretnosti - niso vezane le na en predmet Sposobnost konstrukcije teoretčnih modelov in analize fizikalnih problemov v teoriji delcev. Intended learning outcomes: Knowledge and understanding: Knowledge of basic tyheoretical tools in elementary particle physics, theory of geravity and comology. Application: The achieved knowledge enables student to solve all advanced theoretical problems within field pelementary particle theory or theory of gravity. Reflection: Critical evalvation of all theoretical approaches within relativistic and quantum physics. Transferable skills: Ability to construct theoretical models and analyze physical problems in theoretical high energy physics.! 3
