2 WELCOME A warm welcome to all players, coaches and spectators to the U15 & U14 South West Counties Lacrosse Tournament. We are delighted that Westonbirt is hosting the event. The order of play and pitch allocation for all competitions are outlined in this programme. A map is also included. PLAYERS & COACHES There will be a meeting for coaches & umpires at 9.00am by the scorer s table. Please ensure that your teams are not based on the boundaries of the pitches and that you make use of the bins provided for any rubbish. SPECTATORS Please keep back from the side-lines to avoid injury. Dogs are allowed on leads and must be kept under-control. PARKING Cars: please park in the designated car park on the right hand side of the main drive way. Please leave the main car park for coaches. Coach/minibus: please park in the coach parking area in front of the MAIN school building. VENDORS Hattersleys will be selling lacrosse equipment and apparel on the day. If you would like to contact them before the event: hatterlseysales@aol.com Hattersleys) TOILETS There are a number of portable toilets available. Please note there will be NO access to the MAIN SCHOOL building.

3 MEDICAL SERVICES Please provide each team with a first aid kit to be kept pitch side. Medical service will be available from The British Red Cross tent situated opposite the main school building. If necessary they can travel to the pitches. TOURNAMENT FORMAT Groups will be mixed in the morning competition, followed by a seeded competition in the afternoon. ORDER OF PLAY Matches for U15s will be 7 minutes each way and there will be a 5 minute gap between matches. U14s will have either 5 or 7 minutes halves and a 2 or 5 minute gap between games. There will be a straight change at half time - please continue play as soon as teams are in position. A hooter or bell will indicate start, half time and end of match. Winners will be decided on points - 5 points for a win, 3 points for a draw and 1 point for 50% of your opponents score. If a draw the goal formula will apply.
