PREFACE This publication in the Society's Bulletin series, Bulletin 38, contains 17 papers, the majority of papers, 14 to be exact, were presented at the Annual Geological Conference 1994, held on June 11-12, 1994, at Primula Resort, Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu. Two papers are from the Seminar on Permo-Triassic of Malaysia and associated mineralisation, held on April 14, 1994, at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi, Selangor. The seventeenth paper is from the Annual Geological Conference 1993 held on June 12-13,1993, DeLima Resort, Pulau Langkawi, Kedah.
