I am Sa Boli, from Tajikistan. It is very nice to be able to speak as an international student representative. Before schooling, I worked in the Tajikistan Geology Bureau. With the help of the Xi an Center of Geological Survey, I had the honor to study at the CHINA UNIVERSITY OF GEOSCIENCES (Wuhan) and started my study in China. I am a third-year graduate, majoring in the Mineral Exploration and Prospecting. My tutor is Professor Chen Jianguo.
At the initiative of Belt and Road, I finally got the Chinese Government Scholarship through competitive examination held in my original company at experts recommendation and came to China to study. Full scholarship: Free of registration fee, research fee, lodging fee and emergency medical expenses. Research grants in total RMB 3,000 shall be given monthly, and one-time book information fee in total of RMB 750 and academic travel grants in total of RMB 1,000 shall be offered.
It is very difficult to learn at beginning! The biggest challenges for Tajik to learn Chinese are different language system and different language thinking habit. Since the entire course is taught in Chinese and we just touch Chinese, we can t understand it a t a l l s o t h a t w e c a n o n l y preview the textbook and learn i t b y c o n v e r s i o n m o d e o f Chinese-English-Russian.
One year later, we passed the Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK Level 3) and started to learn Master s professional courses. I chose the Major of Mineral Exploration and Prospecting based on the suggestions of my tutor and relevant experts from Xi an Center according to research direction at working.
We had a class of professional courses with Chinese students, and we learnt terminologies which are difficult to understand by preview before class and review after class with the help of Chinese students.
My Chinese level and professional level have been greatly improved with the help of my tutor and all schoolmates.
Every holiday, I always follow relevant experts from Xi an Center of Geological Survey to make geological survey in the Pamir Region, and I mastered the advanced geological working method and technologies with the help of Chinese experts. Especially, I have got a lot from patient explanations of Chinese experts. My professional level and competence have been greatly improved.
At the same time, I was deeply struck by their serious and fortitudinous attitude which inspires me to study hard so as to make greater progress.
In the course of working with the Chinese, especially with the Xi'a n Center in the Pamir Region, I made a lot of Chinese friends, such as Anton, Ivan, Sergei and so on.
We lived in tents together on the deserted plateau and went through the bad natural condition of Pamir Region. Chinese friends have witnessed every step of my growth while the field work has been completed, and our friendship surpasses the blood brother.
I will graduate and return home next year. With the help of Xi an Center, I have started to write the thesis. Xi an Center enlightens me and guides me forward on my journey of study in China. I deeply know my difficult mission of strengthening the cooperation of Tajikistan- China in geology.
Road. After graduation, I will devote myself to the build of cooperation platform of Tajikistan-China in geology by using the language advantage based on professional knowledge, play the role of bridge between Tajikistan-China in geology and do what I can do for the construction of Belt and
