All the M8 thugh M12 sized blts/nuts ae set t ft lbs. Nte: When installing the backets and bas, all hadwae must be left lse until all the items ae attached. 1. Remve all cntents fm the package and check stainless steel tubes f any damage. Als, veify that all cmpnents and hadwae listed abve ae included befe yu begin installatin. 2. Read installatin manual and installatin dawing cmpletely. Undestand all backets and blts befe installatin. Dive Side 3. Begin installatin n the dive s side. Remve the bdy munt blts fm the fnt and ea bdy munts undeneath cab f tuck and discad. (Keep the bushings). Align Fnt and Rea Backet as shwn. 1

5 4. Install Fnt Munt Backet by using ne (1) Cab Munt Blt. Nte: Make sue facty bushing is put n the same way is taken ff. 5. Install Rea Munt Backet by using ne (1) Cab Munt Blt. 6. Inset ne (1) M10 Blt Plate int the hle n the Rcke Panel. Make sue the Plastic Push nut is n the stud f the Blt Plate t hld it int place. 6 7. Fasten the Fnt Suppt Bace t the M10 Blt Plate as shwn. Secue using ne (1) M10 Lck Washe, ne (1) M10 Flat Washe and ne (1) M10 Hex Head Nut (7a). Repeat this pcedue f the Rea Suppt Bace (7b). Nte: F 2009 & Up New Bdy Style Ddge Ram 1500, see page 4. REAR SUPPORT M10 STUD ON M10 BOLT PLATE M10 STUD ON M10 BOLT PLATE FRONT SUPPORT 7a 7b M10 LOCK 8. Attach the Fnt Suppt Bace t the Fnt Backet using ne (1) M10 Lck Washe, tw (2) M10 Flat Washes, ne (1) M10 Hex Head Nut, and ne (1) M10 X 30MM Hex Head Blt (8a). Repeat this pcedue f attaching the Rea Suppt Bace t the Rea Backet (8b). M10 LOCK M10 LOCK t n F 8b M10 X 30MM HEX HEAD BOLT M10 LOCK M10 X 30MM HEX HEAD BOLT REAR SUPPORT ALREADY ATTACHED TO PINCHWELD IN STEP 7 8a FRONT SUPPORT ALREADY ATTACHED TO PINCHWELD IN STEP 7 3

7 9. Place the Rubbe Gaskets 10 nt the Backet Cadles. Then, place the Step Ba nt the Backets. 10. Secue Step Ba t each STEP BAR Backet using tw (2) M10 Xx 30MM Buttn Head Blts and tw (2) M10 Lck Washes and tw (2) M10 Flat Washes pe backet. RUBBER GASKET Tighten until the split lck washe is flat against backet and snug. DO NOT ve tighten and stip the theaded inset in the tube. M10 FLAT M10 LOCK Repeat these steps f passenge side installatin. When all hadwae is in place, eveything must be tightened. See Page 1 f Tque Specificatins.
