3 M nut s Redline Characteristics According to EN/IEC 0898 Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCB) are intended for the protection of wiring installations against both overload and shortcircuits in domestic or commercial wiring installations Where operations where operation is possible by uninstructed people. Day and night contactors are used mainly in combination with dualtariff applications to allow highenergyloads (i.e. electrical water heaters, accumulation heaters) only to consume energy during the lowtariff period. A forcedon, forcedoff, autoswitch allows to overrule the normal operation of the DNcontactor at all times.
