Tackle the list in one day or better yet, work on the tasks as you can throughout the month. WANT YOUR DISHWASHER TO WORK BETTER? Run the hot water in your faucet until it s HOT and then start your dishwasher up. The dishwasher will work better because the hot water is working from the beginning so you re dishes will be cleaner and the water will be hot. That s a cleaning win! MAKE A SINK SCRUB - If you re looking for a new cleaning habit that will make a big impact with very little effort, make yourself a little jar of sink scrub and put it by or under your kitchen sink. Every night when you ve washed the dishes or loaded the dishwasher, give the sink a little sprinkle of the powder, add a squirt of dish soap, scrub with a sponge or scrub brush (I keep one just for the sink), rinse and dry. Put out a fresh kitchen towel and go do something fun! 2 cups baking soda 20 drops essential oil I like lemon + clove (optional and not necessary) container with a lid or a shaker top Mix baking soda and essential oils in the jar. Sprinkle in the kitchen sink, add a squirt or two of your favorite dish soap, scrub the mixture and rinse. Dry and admire your shiny sink. MARBLE + GRANITE CLEANING SPRAY - This recipe is my favorite for granite and marble but I ve recently discovered that it works really well for small and large appliances and just about anything that needs a spritz. The soap cleans and the little bit of rubbing alcohol will help the solution dry quickly on your counters without streaking or spots. 3 tablespoons rubbing alcohol 1 1/2 cups water 1 teaspoon castile or dish soap Combine ingredients, close spray bottle, shake, and CLEAN!
