20 20 LEARNIN ABOUT HORDS A chord is made up of more than one note. On the uitar, e play more than one strin at at time. Our first chord uses three strins, B and E. E minor (Em) The circles (o) mean to play the open strins. To play the E minor chord, simply play the open first, second, and third strins. B E The basic strum is a donstroke ( ) on each beat of every measure. Em
