1 Name: Date: Page: Rules for playing the keyboards in Music lass 1. Power OFF your keyboards always when you are NOT playing. 2. Remember your headphones should be on at all times. The volume should be around halfway. 3. You MUST be practicing our pieces from class and ONLY piano pieces assigned by Ms. Hu, except at the very end of class when you have a few minutes. 4. Do not talk to your classmates - unless you are given permission to help a classmate. 5. Use your time wisely. You will need to perform your pieces for Ms. Hu next week for your performance- playing test. If you do not use your time wisely, you will lose the privilege of playing the keyboards. 6. Remember to find D in the doghouse. The rest of the letters go in alphabetical order. 7. urve your fingers. This means your hand should be relaxed and rounded. 8. orrect hand position means that your pointer finger of your Right Hand will always be on D. You will be graded on: 1. orrect notes (according to the music) 2. orrect timing and rhythm 3. orrect fingering (hand position) 4. urved fingers Piano Grading You must complete the following pieces for grades: 1.
