Gošauo 1, 118 Vilnius, Lihuania arxiv:151.98v1 [physics.daa-an] 1 Dec 15 The origin o he low-requency noise wih power specrum 1/ β also known as 1/ lucuaions or licker noise) remains a challenge. Recenly, he nonlinear sochasic dierenial equaions or modeling 1/ β noise have been proposed and analyzed. Here we use he sel-similariy properies o his model wih respec o he nonlinear ransormaions o he variable o hese equaions and show ha 1/ β noise o he observable may yield rom he power-law ransormaions o well-known sandard processes, like he Brownian moion, Bessel and similar sochasic processes. Analyical and numerical invesigaions o such echniques or modeling processes wih 1/ β lucuaions is presened. I. INTRODUCTION Dieren heories and models have been proposed or eplanaion o he ubiquious 1/ β noise phenomena, observable or abou eighy years in dieren sysems rom physics o inancial markes see, e.g., Res. [1 8] and reerences herein). Recenly, he sochasic model o 1/ β noise, based on he nonlinear sochasic dierenial equaions d = η λ ) η 1 d+ η dw, 1) where is he signal wih 1/ β specrum, η 1 is he nonlineariy eponen, λ is he eponen o he seady-sae disribuion P ss λ, and W is a Wiener process Brownian moion), has been proposed and analyzed.[6, 7] The relaion o he eponen β in he specrum o he parameers o Eq. 1) is given by β = 1+ λ 3 η 1). ) Eq. 1) may be derived rom he poin process model [6], rom scaling properies o he signal [7] or rom he agenbased herding model [9]. Here we employ he sel-similariy propery o Eq. 1) wih respec he power-law ransormaions o he variable. We show ha processes wih 1/ β specrum may yield rom he nonlinear ransormaions o he variable o he widespread processes, e.g., rom he Brownian moion, Bessel or similar amiliar processes. II. I should be noed, ha Eq. 1) coincides wih equaion or he inereven ime obained orm he Brownian moion dτ = 1 τ dw, 1) dτ k = dw k 15) o he inereven ime τ k in he evens space or k-space.[1] Figures1anddemonsraeheappearanceo1/ noiseoheobservable, asaresulohe inverseransormaion = 1/y o he variable y generaed by he simple equaion wihou he dri erm 1) wih approimae 1/ PSD o he variable y. Here we will demonsrae he possibiliy o obain 1/ β noise rom he Bessel process and rom he Brownian moion. Transormaion 7) wih δ = 1/η 1), i.e., y = 1 η, yields he special orm o Eq. 8), i.e., he Bessel equaion dy = N 1 d y +dw 16) corresponding o N-dimensional Wiener process, or Bessel process wih inde ν = N/ 1. Here N = λ 1 η 1 = 1 λ y. 17)

On he oher hand λ = 1+ N δ, β = 1+ N δ. 18) Thus, he Bessel process or N-dimensional Brownian moion can cause 1/ β lucuaions o he observable as a uncion 7) o his process. So, he pure 1/ noise yields when N = δ, e.g., rom 1D Brownian moion o y or he observable = 1/ y and D Brownian moion o y or he observable = 1/y. Figure 3 demonsraes eamples o he signals o 1D Brownian moion o he variable y, he inverse 1D Brownian moion o = 1/y yielding in 1/ noise and observable = 1/ y resuling in pure 1/ noise. In igure he disribuion densiy and PSD o he corresponding observables are presened. In igure 5 he pure 1/ noise o he observable as inverse o he disance rom he beginning, = 1/r, o he Brownian moion in D, r = B1 )+B ), 19) i.e., o he Bessel process wih he inde ν = is shown. Here B 1 ) and B ) are independen Brownian moions. We see he pure 1/ noise.
5 5 IV. CONCLUSIONS Thus, he proper uncion o he widespread process, e.g., he inverse ransormaion o he order Bessel process and he inverse square roo o he Brownian moion yield he pure 1/ noise, observable, e.g., in condense maer. Possible relevancies o hese ransormaions o 1/ noise in condensed maer: i) 1/ lucuaions o he volage, U = I/G, a consan curren I as a resul o Brownian lucuaions o he conduciviy G, ii) 1/ lucuaions o resisiviy, ρ = 1/σ, as Brownian lucuaions o he conduciviy σ.
