Each room is appointed in a style of a different era of French history.

Mont St. Michel is the most visited attraction in France. The recently reconstructed causeway now allows the abbey to become an island twice each day. Adventurous members of the group can tour the grounds, while less energetic folks can shop or sit in a cafe and watch the pageant of people.

Samuel de Champlain sailed from Honfleur to found Quebec City, and Cavalier de la Salle followed 80 years later to reach the mouth of the Mississippi and what is now Louisiana. Impressionist artists were inspired by Honfleur s frequently changing patterns of light.

This is the largest cemetery for British Commonwealth forces in the world, with almost 12,000 graves, nearly 75% of which are unnamed.
