THE HOLY GHOST 2 Thess. 2: Gd hath frm the beginning chsen yu t salvatin thrugh sanctificatin f the Spirit There was a time ur spirit was nt saved, when Jesus walked n earth t destry sin in His bdy His sul reached a pint where it did nt want t g thrugh with the plan His spirit dictated that He g thrugh with the plan f Gd, the mind r intellect f the Spirit He chse and He saw that we culdn t be saved and walk this walk except the Spirit sanctify us, set us apart, and make us hly He did this by Water Baptism and the utpuring f the Hly Ghst Jhn 7: the Hly Ghst was nt yet given; because that Jesus was nt yet glrified A ghst is the spirit f smebdy that had died Jesus Christ - Old Testament Gd f creatin but in the New Testament walking n earth He had a trichtmy, spirit, sul, and bdy His Spirit was the Hly Ghst Hly because we are sanctified by the Spirit When He came n earth He cnfined Himself as a man He gave a fretaste f the Spirit but He made sure the Hly Ghst was nt given in the New Testament until He went back t heaven 1 Cr. 15: the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. (v. 45) Gd as a spirit in the Old Testament mved upn the face f the waters (Gen. 1:2) The same spirit is nw called the Hly Ghst because Jesus (man and Gd) died and sent back His spirit, the Hly Ghst 1 Cr. 6:17 - But he that is jined unt the Lrd is ne spirit. The Hly Ghst unites with us When yu get the Hly Ghst, yu and Gd becme united, yu re jined t Gd ne spirit Rm. 12:6 - gifts differing accrding t the grace that is given t us Everybdy desn t have the same grace Grace speaks f yur actin, life in the fence Everybdy has a different calling and grace based n what the spirit put yu here t accmplish Jesus didn t let His flesh r sul verride His spiritual purpse CONCLUSION Everybdy has a spirit, sul, and bdy - fcus shuld be the Wrd and the Spirit Leaders must get all f us n the same spiritual plane based n the Wrd, ur spiritual fd Jesus did the will f His father, based n what is written There shuld never be a questin regarding what is right r wrng - the Wrd answers the questin 4
