SYENITE: m.f.g., pink mttled black with small pyrxene crystals but cntent is dminantly pink ptash feldspars. Upper and lwer cntacts are gradatlnal suggesting pink feldspars maybe an alteratin f the basic feldspars in the gabbr. OLIVENE GABBRO: m.g. light grey. Cmpsitin is 60Z relative! e.g. grey plagiclase and 407, blck augite(?) Small runded granules f livene re sparsely distributed thrughut and there is very minr cntent f finely dis seminated magnetite. There is n imperceptble Increase In grain size with depth. SYENITE DYKE (?): ra.f.g. pink with finely disseminated black pyrxene. The upper cntact is gradatinal but lwer cntact is abrupt and pssibly indicates an intrusive (?) relatinship, hwever, pyrxenes appear t be relict frm gabbr suggesting pink feldspars may be alteratin frm plagiclase. OLIVENE GABBRO: ra.c.g. t e.g., grey mttled black - dminantly feldspar cntent -* 507. with -50X augite (?) Ilivene as a minr cnstituent is dieseminated thrughut sectin as fine runded granules.
