Wrk cmpleted t date includes: 3,000 km f 2D acrss central blcks; 1811A/B 2312A/B & 2412A/B (Nrthern half) 2714A (50% Petrbras) 2714B 4,500 km 2 f 3D in nrthern and suthern blcks. Leads generated includes: 1 prspect, 22 leads identified t date in nrthern and suthern blcks (4 further prspects if stack leads); Unrisked grss resurces ptential f 5.24 billin barrels. 5

6 PROSPECTS and LEADS - NORTHERN AREA Summary Lcated in the Namibe Basin; 900 sq. km 3D seismic (2008); 600 sq. km 3D seismic (2009); PSTM (900 sq km) cmplete in Q4 2009; Main lead in water depths f 700 t 1000 m; Other (stacked) leads in deeper water. Setting The blcks are lcated n an arch plunging int the Walvis Basin and flanked by thick rift sectin. Hydrcarbn indicatrs are seen n seismic in the shallw sectin. Large structural features are in the Charit cncessins and a lead prtfli will be matured by end Q The hydrcarbn ptential f the Walvis Basin is virtually untested - the nly well in the regin (2313/05-1) did nt test a valid trap. 8

Setting Blcks 2714A&B are situated t the suth f the Luderitz High, n the nrthern edge f the Orange Delta.
