11 IV Identification : delimitation of CBMRs on European level CBMR-definition from a functional perspective (1/3) CBMR = neighboring FUAs with a national border between them (- FUA = municipalities with 10 % of the active population commuting towards the MUA - MUA = employment center, defined as aggregated municipalities with a high population density) - Advantage : same definition for whole Europe
