LUP W2013C0005 expired on October 23, This LUP allowed Dominion to conduct diamond drilling, large-diameter reverse circulation drilling, geochemical and geophysical surveys, winter road construction, and use of vehicles and machines including earth-moving equipment. Dominion has since applied for and been granted a new LUP, W2018C0005, for these activities 1. Note that there have been regular inspections conducted under LUP W2013C0005 over the last 5 years and activities were conducted as expected. During these 5 years activities that occurred include exploratory drilling during the summer and winter seasons, winter road construction, installation of thermistors and installation of the Westbay Well 2. Areas of work on the Ekati claim block over the last 5 years have included the Jay Project, Lynx, Sable, and most recently Point Lake. There were a total of 334 holes drilled during the 5 year length of this LUP (see table below); 89 of these were land based and 245 of these were on ice. Included are a series of maps which show the locations of all drilling activities during the 5 year duration of this LUP. All are from various Annual Report Summaries submitted to the Board as per condition 56 of LUP W2013C LUP W2018C0005 issued on October 24, 2018 and included the additional activities of fuel storage and a temporary exploration camp. See WLWB online public registry. 2 The Westbay Well system allows monitoring and collection of groundwater samples from multiple zones within a single borehole. The installation is used to monitor and collect samples. The Westway Well installation and the thermistors are not included in the number of holes drilled. These were all winter roads primarily developed on the surface of frozen lakes. However, there were some portions of these winter roads that were developed on land and the table below provides this information. Access Road Summary ear-road Description Access roads were completed on Lac du Sauvage and no overland routes were constructed under the LUP due to a lack of snow for route building despite being originally planned and approved Access to the Sable work area was an ice road completed under LUP - W2013C0005. This road had 4 portages between lakes, starting from the end of the Pigeon Road. The initial access roads into the Jay work area were completed as part of the Winter Road, under a separate LUP. An overland winter trail from Misery Camp to the Jay work area and access to the Jay work areas was completed under LUP W2013C General access into the work area was via the Winter Ice Road, under a separate LUP. Access from the Winter Ice Road to the drilling areas were completed under LUP - W2013C0005. These on-ice access routes were completed on Lac du Sauvage and no overland routes were constructed. To calculate the disturbed area for the portion of the access roads that were on land = 6506 metres.
