11 Process Description and mass balance Meta Chloro Aniline: Annexure : 6 NO 2 Reduction NaHS Water NH 2 Cl Cl Meta Chloro Nitro Benzene (157.5) Meta Chloro Aniline (MCA) (127.5) Meta Chloro Nitro benzene is reduced by NaHS in presence of water. After completion of reaction the reduction product Meta Chloro Aniline is obtained by separation.effluent, send for evaporation at TEE. 6-Chloro Metanilic Acid: ` Cl NO 2 Reduction Iron Powder HCl Cl NH 2 SO 3 H -Fe 2 O 3 SO 3 H Ortho Nitro Chloro Benzene Sulphonic Acid (ONCBPSA) (237.6) Ortho Amino Chloro Benzene Sulphonic acid (6-Chloro Metanilic acid) (207.6) Ortho Nitro Chloro Benzene Sulphonic Acid is reduced by Fe/HCl and filter through filter press & product is isolated by chilling, filtered and C/F to get Ortho Amino Chloro Benzene Sulphonic Acid (6-Chloro Metanilic Acid).

31 Annexure : 7 A Water Balance Diagram
32 WASTEWATER TREATMENT & DISPOSAL Annexure ; 8 Waste Water Treatment Facility The source of water for the proposed expansion project shall meet through GIDC Naroda. Total water requirement for the proposed expansion project will be KLD KLD Domestic effluents shall be disposed through septic tank & Soakpit. The effluent generation from the proposed expansion project shall be KL/day. The effluent will be segregated as follows: High Concentrated Effluent: High concentrate process KL/Day will be sent to ETP for Primary treatment and then it will be sent for evaporation at Naroda. Low Concentrated Effluent: Low concentrated effluent from Washing and Boiler 6.4 KL/Day will be sent to ETP for Primary and Tertiary treatment and then it will be CETP Naroda for further treatment and disposal. Treatment of Concentrated Stream: Concentrated stream generated from process shall be collected in Collection Tank, then it shall be transferred to Neutralization tank in which it shall be neutralized with Lime / FeSO4 and finally it shall be sent to common MEE of NEPL Naroda (after Neutralization) for further evaporation.
