1 OSACC 2018 Ontario Soybean Variety Trials MG00E (2200) New Liskeard New Liskeard Agricultural Research. From highway 11, turn onto Armstrong St. towards highway 65. Continue on Armstrong St, by going straight through the lights that allow you to access Hwy 65. A little over 250 m past the Hwy 65 lights is the field entrance, to the left. This gravel access road will curve to the right, then to the left. Once past the left curve, the OSACC 2200R 00mg soybean trial is approximately 200 m from the gravel access road on the right. The trial will have signage for the day of the sponsors visit. GPS: , MG00 (2400) Arthur From the town of Arthur follow Hwy 109 (hwy 9) east to County Rd. 16 turn left ( north ) toward Damascus. Take the second left onto 4 Line. Plot is located along road at the first house on the left. Signs will be posted at road. GPS: , MG00 (2400) Dundalk Take Hwy 89 east towards Shelburne, turn left at Dufferin Rd 17, then turn left on Line 4 (2 nd road on left). Travel about.5 km down 4 th line SW, plot is on the right down lane across from abandoned house. Look for signs at the road. GPS: , MG00 (2400) & MG0 (2600) Elora ELORA RESEARCH STATION #6182 Second Line East, R.R. # 2 ARISS, ON GPS at station entrance: , The plots are located behind the station and to the left (southeast). Follow the gravel lane approximately 700 m from the station entrance beyond the station buildings (located on left) and the house (located on right). Continue past the treeline on the gravel road, about 450m, and turn left onto the grass laneway. Continue about 600m along the laneway. The field will be in front of you slightly to the left, between the two tree lines. The MG0 Conventional Trial is located about 150m from the bottom corner of the field. The MG0 and MG00 Round Ready Trials begin about 40m past the MG0 Conventional Trials. The MG00 Roundup Ready Trial is on top and the MG0 Roundup Ready Trial is at the base of the field. Page 1 of 5

2 MG0 (2600) Lindsay (Port Hope) From the 401, take (exit 456) and head North. It will be signed at the road. Turn right on County 2 Rd. It ll be the first road you come to. Plot is at 7 th house on the left also a Pickseed testing farm. Follow lane back to last red shed on right. Plot is behind red shed on the right on the eastern side of corn yield trial along lane. It will be signed at road GPS: , MG0 (2600) Ottawa Enter Central Experimental Farm fields from Fisher. Travel along McCooey toward Merivale conventional trial on west end and 2600 RR trial on east end of field. GPS , MG0 (2600) Walton (Brussels) From Exeter take Hwy 4 north to Kippen Rd. Follow Kippen Rd. through Seaforth to Blyth Rd. Turn left onto Blyth Rd, then turn right on to Brussels Line. Follow Brussels Line to Cranbrook Rd. before the town of Brussels and turn right. Plot is on right shortly after S- bend. It will be signed at the road. GPS : , MG1 (2800) Exeter 2800 HU Conventional and Roundup Ready (Co-operator - Gordon Jones). Location is just south of Exeter on London Road (Hwy #4). Trials are located just north of 911# Park on the side of highway. The GPS coordinates are , MG1 (2800) St. Marys ST. MARYS (ST. PAULS) Farm of Mr. Alex Gibson Montrave Farms 4941 Line 16 R.R. # 7 ST. MARYS, ON GPS of farm entrance: , GPS at plot location: , The field is located at Mr. Alex Gibson s home farm at #4941 on Line 16. The field can be accessed by driving southwest along the laneway past the silos and around the right side of the bunker. The plots are located approximately 50 m behind the bunker. The bottom corner of the field is at the north corner. The MG1 Roundup Ready Trial is the first test you approach approximately 3 m southwest of the adjacent soybean field. The MG1 Conventional Trial is located about 25 m southwest of the MG1 Roundup Ready Trial. Page 2 of 5

3 MG1 (2800) Winchester If coming from the 401: Follow ON-401 E to Route 31 in South Dundas. Take exit 750 for County Road 31 toward Morrisburg/Winchester. Turn left (N) onto Route 31 (signs for County Road 31/Winchester/Ottawa). After 19.6 km, turn left (W) onto Baker Rd. Destination will be on the right. Go 1.1 km. Sign will be posted at the road entrance as well as at the field site. If coming from 416: Take Exit 34 to Kemptville from 416. Turn left (E) onto County Rd 43 (signs for County Road 43). Go 21.8 km and turn right (S) onto Route 31/County Rd 43 E (signs for County Road 31/Morrisburg/Chesterville). Continue to follow Route 31 for 5.4 km. Turn right (W) onto Baker Rd for 1.1 km. Farm of Mr. Bob Hart Hartholm Farm Ltd. # Oxford County Road 59 R.R. # 6 WOODSTOCK, ON GPS at laneway: , The field is located at # on Zorra-Tavistock Line. The plots are located on the right at the front of the property immediately after turning off the road. The MG1 Roundup Ready Trial is located the adjacent to the laneway. The MG1 Conventional Trial is about 110m North of the laneway towards the treeline. MG 2E (3100) Inwood Jeff Lassaline 2504 Little Ireland Rd Inwood, ON N0N 1K0 GPS: , Coming from either direction on 80 highway turn south on Little Ireland Road. Travel down Little Ireland road approximately 3 ½ miles to address (Left side) Use first laneway entrance (not house) and remain left when traveling toward and around the barns. OSACC plots are located approximately ¼ mile travel on a semi grassy lane behind barns. Flag in field marks OSACC trial. (left side) Warning, lane will not be driveable in wet weather conditions. 4 MG 2E (3100) Palmyra Richard Wierrenga Kenesserie Rd Ridgetown, ON N0P 2C0 GPS: , Coming from either direction on highway 3 turn onto Kenesserie Road (gravel) traveling south-east approximately ½ mile to OSACC signage on roadway. (left side - east) Need to cross farmer s soybean field (120 ft) to Flag marking OSACC trial. MG 2E (3100) Ridgetown University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus 120 Main Street, Ridgetown Ontario GPS: , The plots are located behind the main campus in the plot research area (North-East). Follow gravel lane to plot area and follow signage to OSACC trials. Flag in field marks OSACC trial. MG 2E (3100) Talbotville Take 401 to Wellington Road Exit. Drive Wellington Rd. South. Turn left onto Ron McNeil Line at Polaris dealership. Plot is in eastern most part of field behind dealership. It will be signed at road. GPS : , MG 2L (3400) Chatham Wayne Wonnacott Drake Road Merlin, ON N0P 1W0 GPS: , Field entrance is at the corner of Riverview Line and Dillion Road. There is a grass pathway inside field which is parallel to a large drainage ditch, parallel to Dillion Road. Travel distance to plots is ¼ mile. No turn around. Flag in field marks OSACC trial. Access to plots directly from Dillion Road, will look appealing, however it is not advised because the drainage ditch is very deep and usually contains water. Page 4 of 5

5 MG 2L (3400) Merlin Grant Guy Drake Road Merlin, ON N0P 1W0 GPS: , Coming from either direction on Kent County Road 8 (Middle Line) turn south-east on Drake Road. Travel ¼ mile to Use homestead driveway entrance and remain right when traveling toward old barn. Follow lane around old barn to soybean field behind old barn. Flag in field marks OSACC trial. Warning, lane around barn may not be driveable in wet weather conditions. Field can easily be walked to from yard. MG2L (3400) Woodslee The OSV trial is located at the AAFC Whelan Experimental Farm (clay 3400), 1367 County Road 46, Woodslee, Ontario about 1.5 km west of Belle River Rd (exit 34 south, on Hwy 401). Go in the main gate at the Whelan farm and drive straight to the hydro tower. The plots are located east side of driveway and south side of the main farm. GPS: N , W Phytophthora plots GPS Co-ordinates N , W MG2L (3400) Malden - Holiday Beach From the 401 take the Bridge exit and at the first set of lights go south approx. 20 km on County Rd. 9 (Howard Ave) to Cty Rd 20 (formerly Hwy 18). Turn right (west) and travel 2.6 km. At Malden Centre turn south onto County Rd 50 (in previous years you used to turn north at this intersection). Travel 3 km approximately and you will approach the sign and entrance to Essex Regional Conservation Authority - Holiday Beach Park. Continue past the park and look for the posted OSV sign and field which will be east of the park on the lake shore side of Cty Rd 50. GPS: 42º 02'14.640" N 83º01'54.426" W Page 5 of 5
