2 Structura naysis III. Exam Format Introduction The exam format is being atered this year from previous Semester exam formats. However, the change is superficia: the questions asked wi be of the same standard, and no new or extra knowedge is required. This change is being impemented to better refect the content of the Semester course, and the time put into each topic. In addition, it is hoped that the paper wi be easy to sit and pan time for, given that a questions wi now have equa marking. ayout There wi be 4 questions and you are to answer a 4. Marking Each question has equa weighting: Questions to 4 are worth 5 marks each. Timing The exam is hours in duration which converts to 0 minutes per question. Format The format is: Question wi examine Macauay s Method; Question wi examine Virtua Work; Question wi examine Virtua Work; Question 4 wi examine astic naysis. Dr.. aprani
3 Structura naysis III In addition, questions may incude aspects of quaitative anaysis, corresponding to Question (c) of pre-semesterized exams. The standard and stye of questions wi be as for previous semesterized and presemesterized exams. Exam Handout The handout is as attached to the sampe exam paper. Dr.. aprani
