6 1-D MultiFM SSD is a cost effective alternative to 2-D SSD that will be tested on Omega EP Master Oscillator Room (MOR) Shaped pulse First SSD dimension bandwidth Fiber Optic output PAM s repeated 47x First SSD Dimension grating Preamplifier Module (PAM) Optional Second SSD dimension Bulk optics 2-D SSD requires bulk optics replicated in 48 PAMs Expensive and occupies valuable optical table space MultiFM is generated as a fiber-based system in the MOR
