Eng., AIJ, Vol. 77 No. 67, , Ma, 1 Takua MATSUMOTO, Noriko TAKIYAMA and Yasuhiro HAYASHI This paper proposes an evaluation ethod on aterial characteristics for the colun-to-bea (Sashigaoi) joint in traditional wooden structures based on static loading test for ock test fraes and pull-out tests of joints. Major findings fro the research are as follows: (1) In static loading tests, the aount of bea s oveent are clarified. () In the pull-out tests of joints, new failure odes and failure progress patterns are classified. (3) We revised evaluate equation of ield force and initial stiffness for cotter pin joint, and constructed new equation for nose pin joint based on AIJ s one.
