CALCULATIONS/BEREKENINGE Marks will be awarded or: correct ormula, correct substitution, correct answer with unit. Punte sal toegeken word vir: korrekte ormule, korrekte substitusie, korrekte antwoord met eenheid. No marks will be awarded i an incorrect or inappropriate ormula is used, even though there may be relevant symbols and applicable substitutions. Geen punte sal toegeken word waar 'n verkeerde o ontoepaslike ormule gebruik word nie, sels al is daar relevante simbole en relevante substitusies. When an error is made during substitution into a correct ormula, a mark will be awarded or the correct ormula and or the correct substitutions, but no urther marks will be given. Markers will always ensure that the correct/appropriate ormula is used and that workings, including substitutions, are correct. I the candidate is thereore required to motivate in question 3. the answer given to question 3.1, and 3.1 is incorrect, no marks can be awarded or question 3.. However, i the answer or e.g is based on a calculation, the motivation or the incorrect answer in 3. could be considered.
