7 INTRODUCTION 19304A MLRS, Missile Numbers BN-040, BN-04l, BN-042, BN-043, BN-044 and BN-045, Round Numbers V-194/MD-48, V-195/MD-49, V-196/MD-50, V-197/MD-51, V-198/MD-52, and V-199/MD-53, were launched from LC-33, White Sands Missile Range (WSMR), New Mexico, at 1505:11, 1505:16, 1505:20, 1505:25, 1505:30 and 1505:34 MST, 17 December The scheduled launch times were 1500, 1500:04.5, 1500:09, 1500:13.5, 1500:18 and 1500:22.5 MST. DISCUSSION Meteorological data were recorded and reduced by the White Sands Meteorological Team, Atmospheric Sciences Laboratory (ASL), White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. The data were obtained by the following methods: 1. Observations. a. Surface: (1) Standard surface observations to include pressure, temperature ( C), relative humidity, dew point (*C), density (gm/m), wind speed and direction, and cloud cover were made at the LC-33 Met Site at T-O minutes. (2) Anemometer data were provided from existing pole-mounted and tower-mounted anemometers at LC-33. Monitor of wind speed and direction was also provided in the launch control room. b.
