1 DEPARTMENT OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING The Chemical Engg Department at G.V.P is one of the premier Chemical Engineering Department in the state. It was the first Department to start the simulation lab in the state in This lab was then made compulsory by J.N.T.U in State of the art software like CD ADAPCO CFD, NISA CFD, PRO-II for process simulation, Triangle simulation for real time simulation and MATLAB are taught in this lab. Apart from this software the department has high end equipment like G.C, PARR Reactor, UV spectrophotometer, Photocatalytic reactor, Micro-processor based distillation column, absorber and CSTR.
