Thermal Basin Studies Temperature studies are an important tool in assessing maturation, hydrocarbon generation and geothermal potential In addition, sometimes they can be useful in determining over pressure While there are published geothermal gradient maps for some basins, regional studies with the data deliverable in user friendly formats for software actually in current use by industry and sampling on a consistent detailed grid are rare to non existent Structure, hydrocarbon and pressure cause perturbations of the geothermal gradient Because of this, Innovative Geo Tech Resources LLC and Laramide Geosciences LLC have teamed up and are offering the opportunity for companies to license these thermal basin studies

Current Studies DJ Basin Phase 1 We estimate that there are ~ 800 data points in the DJ Basin Phase 1 study area as outlined We are picking the BHT, circulation times, and formation at BHT from the log data for all runs for all wells, calculating gradients and integrating temperatures from the DST data We will integrate public domain temperature data from geothermal and other heat flow studies where available and integrate other public domain data such as surface geology, basement structure where available, etc The pre-sale cost of the DJ Basin Phase 1 study is $7,000 + sales tax This price is valid until April 30, 2010 at which time the study cost will increase Pre-sale price will be reserved upon receipt of the offer letter signature page and 50% as a deposit of the pre-sale price The final payment will be due upon delivery of the project The anticipated completion date for the project is around the first week in June
