1 Ice Report St. Petersburg, Primorsk, Ust-Luga and Vyborg/Vysotsk ports Present ice conditions / Ice conditions forecast: Ice melting is in progress. Basis current weather forecast, it is still expected rapid ice destruction. As a result, eastern part of the Gulf should be fully ice free around 25th-30th of April. Currently, in the Neva Bay and in the harbours of St. Petersburg port there is close, partly rotten ice with thickness cm, further on the Fairway up to the longitude of Kotlin Island there is very close ice with thickness cm, but close to the Zelenogorsk shore line there is still fast ice up to cm thick, further up to the longitude of Seskar Island there is close and very close ice with thickness cm, further westward mainly open water, but in places fields of floating rotten ice up to cm thick. In the top of Vyborg Bay there is still fast ice up to cm thick, in the area of Vyborg/Vysotsk ports there is fast ice with thickness cm, on approaches close and very close ice with thickness cm. In the Bjerkesund Strait and area of Primorsk port there is fast ice up to cm thick, on approaches close and very close ice with thickness cm. In the Luga Bay, area of Ust-Luga port and on approaches there is mainly open water, but in places fields of floating rotten ice up to cm thick. Weather forecast:
